Thinking, that now Inter have financial issues and ha announced they’d like to sell some players, could we get some players from them on a relatively lower price (compared to usual market prices). I have not watched any Inter game but some of the players I’ve heard good of, or at least have a high market value are below players:

- Bastoni, CB, 22 years
- De Vrij, CB, 29 years
- Brozovic, DM, 28 years
- Barella, CM, 24 years
- Martinez, CF, 23 years

Bastoni just signed a new deal. They're also hoping to get €60m from selling Hakimi to PSG, they'll never sell Martinez, plus I doubt he'd want to come to us, he loves it at Inter.

It's Patrick Berger who used to play for Liverpool, he'll have some sources but they'll be limited.

Edit: €85m would be a bargain.
It isn't Berger who played for Liverpool. This guy is a journalist.

€85m can’t be right because we would have done that already. That’s £73m

I personally think if those sorts of figures are now being banded about that we will have this done prior to the euros - we know we already have personal terms in place from last season and the Glazers will also think the fans need a shiny new toy to appease them (which shouldn’t work but unfortunately will).

No point in letting him go to England, possibly get his head turned by other players from the likes of Chelsea/Liverpool OR having a break out tournament and then Dortmund raise their price again.

That all makes sense, except will we manage it with any of the same common sense approach? Let’s hope so.

To be honest I was desperate for Sancho last summer, would still love him here, but we can’t let them take us to the cleaners, we have some major holes at ST, DM and CB. All three are as important as a RW in my opinion.

Achraf Hakimi has an agreement in principle with PSG. The player is convinced by the project of Paris. Negotiations between PSG and Inter are going well and agreement is close. The 3rd club interested in Hakimi is Chelsea.

Presume we are hearing more from McGrath at the moment as the main Utd correspondent is currently off with COVID

What is De Vrij like these days?

Hakimi to PSG gives off serious whiffs of Conte heading there.

There is no way Conte is talking to Madrid and at the same time allowing Hakimi who is vital to his system go to PSG.

Pochettino back to Spurs to pacify Kane then Conte to PSG? Could even add Lukaku with him if Mbappe is insistent on leaving.

I still can't see any reason for Poch to go back to Spurs. It's baffling.

Under the duvet, with a laptop.
A little surprised that we haven't put in a bid for Sancho yet, if true.

Be typical if we've been sidetracked by the possibility of Kane, get caught up in a summer long bidding war and end up getting neither!

Just get Sancho done!

So it looks like Heaton's getting the exact same contract that Grant got when we brought him in as the 3rd keeper.

João Santos is back!

Source: Radio Kiss Kiss via Area Napoli

Now he is focused on the Champions League final, and we hope that everything goes well. After that, he will think about the European Championship and, at the end of the competition, we will see. He would like to return to Italy, but to see him again at Napoli, it [transfer] depends on Aurelio De Laurentiis [Napoli chairman].

Gazette dello Sport were first on this.
Which is a surprise, honestly, but here we are. Anyways, di Marzio has some more info on the Hakimi transfer:
  • Inter are asking for a total of 80 million Euros (bonuses included).
  • Inter are looking at Barcelona's Emerson Royal as a replacement.
    • Price: 20-25 million Euros
Also, apparently, Bayern Munich are still interested.

And as announced yesterday and confirmed by Sky Italia [i.e. di Marzio], Bayern Munich are very interested and in discussions.

The Alvaro Morata thing is a fairly simple and on-track topic. The player wants to stay in Turin and Allegri would be delighted with him. Atlético asks for 10 million [Euros] of the [loan] transfer (for another year) without discounts.

Memphis Depay in NOS talks about his future: “Barça's interest is there. Regardless of where I go, I would like Koeman to stay there. Barcelona is a fantastic club, but there are more excellent clubs.” The parties are close but something is still missing on a financial level.

Jerdy Schouten's not a bad midfielder, but I feel like he'll be a depth signing for both teams rather than starting regularly.

Wait a second ... I got lost here. Madrid, Turin ... he's made that travel before. Where is he now and who does he belong to?

Edit: Never mind. I figured it out. He's back on loan in Turin. De ja vou.
