Couldn't care less about him as a United player any more - the amount of times he's played silly buggers with us is embarrassing. There's a definite undercurrent with him where we choose to believe he actually loves United and wants to stay when all the evidence points to the contrary.

Mino is a great distraction/target for us fans but make no mistake, he works for Pogba and he knows what Pogba wants. Sell Pogba, get someone like Tielemans in as a CM and Sancho and we'd be a far better team overall.
His brother going on record multiple times stating that he will not sign a new contract should be evidence enough but we choose to ignore it. He is leaving next summer at the latest.

Where he's playing for england, left hand side of a 3 man midfield with an actual CDM over Fred and Mctom.
Ole won't change his formation to a 433 and he certainly wouldn't have Grealish and Bruno above a single pivot if he were to, regardless of who we were to put behind them.

If Pogba does go, then we should be definitely be using that money to buy a holding midfielder, as that is the position he's played in the most.

I'd happily offer him 500k a week on the condition he finds a new agent.

We all love United
Love watching the guy play footie and i would only swap Grealish for him as player for player. Hate to see him leave if we get someone inferior to replace him

Not had any concrete offers? Hahahahaha. I love how one sided that statement is. Tell us how much you've asked for first Paul. That might be why you've not had anything concrete yet.

If we pay this prat 400k a week or even more then we've only got ourselves to blame. If he's worth 400k a week then Bruno is worth 600k easy.

Yeah. Pogba, entering the final year of his contract is in a very strong position to get a massive contract, especially if he has a good Euros.

Give him what he wants, it would cost way more to replace him than the difference between £300,000 per week and £400,0000 a week.

We should shop him to Barca so PSG can swoop in and sign him.

Suspect he ends up leaving on a free next year. Would possibly be a record - first player to leave the same club twice on a free transfer.

The way I see it, Ole doesnt trust A) his CB's to play with a single CDM, or B) either of Fred or Mctominay to fulfil that role on their own. With new personnel why wouldn't he change things?

City have player with the likes of D.Silva and KDB in front of an actual CDM for years - can we not do this? Going off topic slightly but we need more creativity when Pogba goes.

He's not worth anything like that kind of money. He almost got as many yellow cards as he got goals and assists combined this season. Mctomminay even outscored him ffs.

Giving him 500k a week would absolutely destroy our dressing room. He's nowhere deserving that type of cash. Bruno is way better than he is it's not even close.

I’m not really seeing how Pogba has contradicted the report that we’ve open negotiations with him. It seems we haven’t made him a concrete offer but have opened talks with Mino to discuss terms.

If Ole is obsessed with Grealish like the CAF is then I'm sure he'd try and get him to replace Pogba

It is the amount of time that took him to post it after skysports tweet which is telling.

He was asked on the back of the report and the full quote finished with "I'm just focused on the Euro's, I have agents who deal with this"

Exactly. The Sky Sports report got him rushing to the nearest journalist - I actually want him gone.

Alternatively he was approached once the news broke, but the comment about PSG's owner was a bit much.

Unfortunately with 1 year left, he's calling all the shots. Both the situation for United are lose lose. Either let him go for free for a second time after making him our record signing or destroy the wage structure once again by offering him 400K.

Hate to be that guy, but watch his play drop off a cliff once he signs a shiny new 5 year deal.

He demanded the club sign a French CDM to play next to him in midfield, according to Duncan Castles :wenger:

Noone in their right mind will pay an even modest fee this summer when they can sign him for free next summer.

You really think that either a publication, within the hour have been able to get an answer from Pogba regarding his contract negotiations, whilst on Euro duty with France.

Unless that publication is paying him a large sum $$$$ for quotes there is no way that ANY publication have been able to get an answer from him that quickly.

Some of you have some warped idea around players, PR's and journalists. These publications have no quick access to these players at all and that's even more scrutinised whilst on international duty. If you're getting Pogba to give you quotes within the hour of your publication you either need to have an incredible pay rise or find yourself a new role, because journalism is too low of a bar for you. Need to be working as the head of comms somewhere or something because that's a miracle. Especially since your inbox for one would be flooded with requests for anything for the day.Feck you could even miss the quotes from your inbox.

There's no way a player gives that much of a feck that he just HAD to rush to a journalist to give his opinion. Feck. If he cared THAT much instead of going through the trouble of getting a journalist and giving quotes he'd simply just tweet it out from his phone.

Do you dislike Pogba that much that you made up some out of this world scenario that Pogba has any journalist on speed dial to get quotes out?

Wait wait wait.. so within the hour he’s taken publicly to deny new negotiations?? Nah he’s gone as hell if that’s true, clearly wants nothing to do with that talk.

Must have literally been scrolling twitter and said “find me a journalist!”.

I said that tongue in cheek but Pogba is a fecking brilliant player when he's used correctly and doesn't have that idiot agent in his ear. McTominay is nowhere near him.

Yes. As mentioned before, with journalists in the constant company of squads in the run up to the Euro's I think this is entirely possible. Who initiated the conversation? We have no way of knowing.

Lets at least hope we don't hand out a 'rooney/sanchez/ddg' deal for the love of jesus. I can see fans here blaming woodward in 2 years time.

He was on press duty for the national team today and since the Sky news broke just before, some journos of course took the chance to ask him. Obviously it sounds better to make it sound like he wants to get out of the club when it's most of the fans who want him gone.
