The worst thing I have ever seen on a football pitch. Just so horrible and distressing. The moment he was receiving CPR on the pitch, I just turned the tv off.

Got carried out while medics held white sheets aroune him. And that was 10-15 minutes after the collapse.

I’m shocked. He is from my hometown, and has a house a couple of km from mine. A son at the same age as mine and with similar names. I feel absolutely sici

There seemed to be some applause before he was taken off the pitch. Really hoping that's a good sign.
Bullshit journo on Polish Twitter claims he has a friend at the stadium that apparently saw Eriksen leaving the stadium alive and awake.

Don't think that's a given at all. I'm afraid it was probably the "giving them a respectful send-off from the pitch" thing...
Was a minute or 2 before he went off though. I'm probably just reading into things because I'm hopeful, but an applause followed by him being moved a few mins later I'm hoping is positive.

Of in an ambulance towards the hospital. Which is thankfully right next door.

It was shocking the camera man zoomed in on him several times the moment he went down and it was just obvious he was in a very bad way.

I wish some of these external producers would learn when to cut away, wouldn't have been shown so much here in England.

Hope he was resuscitated okay
Just said this to the mrs, so disrespectful to be zooming in on him, what assume was his wife and his team mates etc while he’s literally fighting for his life.
Fingers crossed he’s pulls through

maybe they will think about cancelling some senseless games - like nations league. players have too many games in a short time span. just hope he pulls through

That's the only thing to cling onto currently but really not sure how much the crowd would see with all the sheets up and I wouldn't want to be looking anyway.

Expecting bad news from the hospital within next hour, desperately hope I'm wrong as Muamba did survive in the end when that looked bleak but a handful of players haven't when it's happened to them.

Can remember a Hungary player collapsing in Benfica match years back.
Miki Feher. But at least it’s possible Eriksen is still alive. But for now it’s only speculation.

They just said it was about 18 minutes from he collapsed till he left in the ambulance. No idea whether that's a long or a short time.

Very distressing, I hope he pulls through. I think they should've gone back to the studio much quicker than they did.

Really hope hes ok. Muamba was bloody lucky and shouldn't be taken as the norm.

Is it me or are these things getting more common? This, Daley Blind, the Ajax kid, all quite recently. And testing is getting so much better at the same time.

Agreed, is there no players union that can tell FIFA and UEFA to feck off? More games for more money, feck off. We need to reduce the amount of games, not increase it.

People literally complained about BBC in the matchday thread showing everything and not going away to studio.

They should have like "minute banks" and a player shouldn't play more than X amount of minutes per season/year.
