Flight simulator on gamepass is quality
I have gamepass for PC so I downloaded it a few months ago.I’d never be arsed to play it but Flight Simulator is such a cool piece of technology.
Horizon is a great series. I don't get why they continue to dumb down motorsport when they have this.Forza does make me a little jealous though.
Yeh that’s the issue. It’s way too niche for me even if it’s very cool. I feel like you do need to be either a pilot or a plane nerd to fully appreciate it.I have gamepass for PC so I downloaded it a few months ago.
Played it twice and had no idea what the feck i was doing might try it again using a controller to see if its any easier to pick up
The graphics look insane don’t they. Ford’s has always looked good so nice to see it on next gen.Forza Horizon 5. Damn, looks amazing.
It's just not a console seller though. If I ever get a Series X I'll definitely grab the Forza games with it.Horizon is a great series. I don't get why they continue to dumb down motorsport when they have this.
I was hoping the Tokyo setting rumours would be true but still I do love this series.Forza Horizon 5. Damn, looks amazing.
Pretty much.So basically as feared they showed a load of fairly average games coming straight onto game pass, before going very quickly over the actual exciting games which will release in 3/4 years from now.
It's impossible to draw any conclusions from the CG trailers. Unfortunately most of the big reveals were CG trailers. Next year hopefully they show some gameplay.Maybe too early to say but don't think Redfall seems particularly interesting.

Not at all, a really good show with very little talk and loads of games.A disappointing show then?
Hopefully SE will give us some good announcements. Hoping to see FFXVI at the very least.
I'm in the same boat. Can't draw conclusions from a CG trailer, but nothing very exciting seemed to be happening there. Dishonored 2 and Prey were two of my favourite games last gen, but I'm worried Arkane have moved away from making that kind of game.Maybe too early to say but don't think Redfall seems particularly interesting.
I’m just catching up now - if Gamepass is your thing then seeing 27 games coming is great. For myself and others who really want some killer games to convince us to buy, perhaps it’s disappointing in that respect. Not at all, a really good show with very little talk and loads of games.
It could have had more gameplay but maybe people haven't been paying attention to the situation we live in right now or noticed the quality of the other conferences (which didn't have a 10th of the content). Even Halo campaign had no gameplay, because ultimately everybody is focusing on creating the game and for the most part the conference was gameplay montages which are much easier to produce and take less resources.
For all those who think I'd say that anyway, check my ratings every other year which have often been C and I think last year or one before was a D
For anybody with Gamepass to see 27 games coming to gamepass.. it was class. That train ain't stopping anytime soon.
Yeah that was a nice change from previous years. Probably saw the criticism they got from when it was the opposite. Not at all, a really good show with very little talk and loads of games.
My predictions this morning pretty much called the whole conference to be fair!It was ok, but underwhelming. Everything shown was common knowledge, not a huge amount of gameplay from the big hitters and the defence of Halo is laughable considering the campaign was all but done a while ago, it's the backlash to the shocking graphics they are still working on. Coming from a Halo background, I'm still incredibly wary of what this will be.
But there were games, even if most of the 27 were exactly what you expect from gamepass games. And for that, we should be thankful.
Maybe. We knew the killer games would come later though if you aren't a halo/Forza Horizon fan (if you were, you'd already have an Xbox).I’m just catching up now - if Gamepass is your thing then seeing 27 games coming is great. Gamepass is pretty overrated. It's about quality, not quantity. I already have a backlog of around 30 games I need to get around to playing, it just isn't as great as you make out. I'd honestly prefer one Returnal or Ratchet quality game every year rather than 1000 dross titles to play for 20 minutes then drop into the abyss.Maybe. 2023/2024 are already looking absolutely stacked if you consider the games announced and the studios we don't even know about yet.
Redfall and Starfield may well be killer apps but obviously impossible to tell from what they showed today.
The killer app is gamepass though if you like console and not PC. I wouldn't trade it for any 5 Sony/Nintendo franchises.
I have it. And a PS5. And it's the best thing in gaming for me and has meant I game a lot more in the past year than in the 3 years before it.Gamepass is pretty overrated. Out of interest what do you think of PS now?I have it. And a PS5. And it's the best thing in gaming for me and has meant I game a lot more in the past year than in the 3 years before it.
For some, it isn't that appealing and playing a handful of high quality games is better.
Each to their own.
