Guardiola has stated that City can’t afford one player for £100m and says he will ave the same players, minus Aquero who was injured for months, that has won the PL 3 times which means he doesn’t want a genuine number 9. So Kane or Haaland have limited options if they are sold.
Guardiola talks shite though. They may not spend £100m on one player, but they won’t start the season with no signings.

If he signed for Chelsea better tuchel make chelsea team play to his strengths. Tuchel won't be there at the end of the year if haaland starts badly.

So assuming this goes ahead for say £150m. Do Chelsea fans think he'll get another release clause in their like with the last 2 clubs? Maybe for $250? Cause tbh I don't think Chelsea would be his 'end' team, he'll want to go to someone in Spain probs?

Then the contract side, we heard stupid number for the wage demands earlier, what wages do you think he'll get at Chelsea, is the wage structure very movable?

Even if the contracts for 6 years he'll still only be in his prime at the end of it at 26, so maybe no clause is needed, he'll just leave on a free at that time like the other Mino clients?

Such an interesting deal.

Haaland will stay at Dortmund, his agent will talk him into signing a new improved contract with no buy out clause, they both get paid and Dortmund makes loads next summer and they both get paid again when he moves somewhere else.

Chelsea fans on twitter are certain they are signing him this summer, right up there with the Dippers thinking Mbappe is headed to Anfield next week.
The dippers have always been delusional but chelski can splash the cash if they wanted to.

I'd say it's a big risk at that price, but let's be honest - Roman is keen on football again so it doesn't really matter.

Will be fascinating to see how Tuchel would integrate him. Ditto if he went to City which I still don't think is likely.

Since he rejected us once - does he exactly have a love to join us on a second whim?

It is basically double the money, ignoring all the OTHER money that'll be lining numerous pockets  bit different I personally think.
These days it's all obscene. I think all our clubs should be ashamed of themselves for letting things reach this point.

Apparently according to Bild sources , Abramowitch is directly involved in this Transfer. Abramowitch has no Problem paying 175€ Million to Dortmund

I can't disagree with that at all. I'd love a reset of these loony prices.
Covid was supposed to do it but clubs refused to let it happen. I'm convinced they're money laundering or something. So many of these deals don't make any sense

Clearly Chelsea is not one of his favourite clubs to go to else, they would have waited for an year and then got him, rather than spend extra 130 million now. In which case, Dortmund and Haaland's interests diverge, maybe the club may be interested to sell now (although then they would be flush with cash but without two of their important players) but Haaland may prefer to get likes of City, United, Spanish clubs etc., interested besides Chelsea.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
He cant move now. Raiola wont get the best money. Next summer he will
Exactly. Haaland will have his pick of any club next year and that 80m over the release clause Chelsea are willing to pay can go directly into Raiola and Papa Haaland’s pockets. The most obvious solution to all of this is Dortmund give Haaland a pay rise to bump up the release clause 30m - Haaland gets more money this year, higher sign on fees next year as it’s still below market value and Dortmund get more than the clause so aren’t losing as much by not selling now. Simple.

I really doubt that's how business contracts are signed. Not seen in my experience yet. Ideally there would be a % of total fee, i.e. the fee that selling club is asking. And then additionally there would be a fixed charge for each transfer activity. The deals shouldn't be far different than conveyancing. So, higher the fee, higher should be the commission, not other way round.

Next summer they get the pick of the top clubs fighting for him. Meaning they will be able to squeeze out better signing on fees.

They haven't sold Sancho as he hasn't passed his medical. Its a agreement in principle at the moment. Why should the thread be locked? If Chelsea meet Dortmunds ridiculous price of £175mil and decide to sell.this summer. So what? Dortmund can change their minds especially if they will be getting £100mil more this summer than next in transfer fee.

I don't exactly believe in that rumour though. But shattering wage structure for him to sign for Chelsea I would not buy into that unless roman already convinced him to come to chelsea and directly involved in deal.

175 mn euros over four year period payment will not be a problem for Chelsea as most rumours suggests but weekly wages of him above 400k a week definitely not sustainable for Chelsea in longer period.

But some on here suggest why would he choose chelsea over other clubs is quite laughable. Chelsea are reigning champions of europe, very young team and in much need of a striker. What's not to like signing for Chelsea.

He rejected us because OGS was facing the sack and he felt that only Ole wanted him, not the club. Situation is different now, both from a sporting and managerial perspective.

Chelsea would be a good move for him for now. Like you said whats not to like? Fantastic squad and he can always move to Barcelona or Madrid in a few years when they get their finances back in a healthier state.

Doubt his wages would be a problem for Chelsea. Riaola and his dads commission is extortionate though.

Read somewhere that glazers completely ruled us out from any bid this summer due to the overall financial pacakage and so we targeted Sancho instead. Ole wanted a forward (striker or winger) this summer and knew he couldnt have both.

I agree with the bottom paragraph. Chelsea have won the league and CL twice since we last won either but some fans still look down on Chelsea who have a great squad and manager. At the end of the day we all know personal owner wealth turned the likes of Chelsea, City and PSG into massive clubs but it is what it is and I doubt many players mind. If I wanted to play in England and win trophies I'd certainly join Chelsea, City and Liverpool before United that's for sure.

However if he has a strong desire to play for United or Real for example he would of course be better off staying for another year and hope they come in for him next summer.

Nothing suggests he wanted only to play for real Madrid. If that's the case why his agent went on European tour to sell his client.

Man united i know biggest club on england but nobody wanted to move now because of present state of club. Yes manutd will come back next season strong may be or may be not.

As of now if I am a player I have choice to choose from man City, chelsea and man utd I will choose the club in that order without any hesitation.

So long as that sh*tbag (to quote fergie) agent of his is still his agent you bet they will want some sort of clause or control over his future. Wasn’t this supposed to be the reason we couldn’t sign him back when he went to Dortmund instead? Great player but nightmare agent and we should have learned our lesson by now.

I actually think there’s a good chance he moves this summer now that Sancho isn’t there to support him.

His stock is very high right now, if he has a poor season, Raiola and his Dad aren’t going to get the same commission they hope for and Dortmund are stuck with a fixed fee.

There’s a good chance Haaland’s output will suffer without the assist machine alongside him. We’ve already seen Haaland’s Dad’s “feck” tweet when the news was announced. It was obviously in jest but it was borne from a truth and that will be a consideration for all parties.

This is what happens when players, agents and clubs are so greedy. They end up having to play for Chelsea
