Pellistri is what I hoped to see from some of these promising guys. Looks to have excellent technique while moving with the ball, good touch, fast off the mark and showed great composure for the goal.
Hes young and small so no doubt he can use some loans to get used to professional football, but definitely has potential (and IMO too good for reserves).

He seems to give that impression. The first time I watched him I thought what's the fuss about? Then he scored two goals in about 30 seconds and I was all oh, ok.

I want him to have a loan with a EPL not La Liga team. Otherwise we will have to send him there next season.
Once he develops physically we will see a better player. Only 17 so I doubt we would be blown away till he gets 19/20 years of age.

Pereira is that guy who idolised technical midfielders growing up, copied them, mimicked their body feints, passing technique, but just isn't good enough to pull off half the techniques he attempts.

That's terrible by Grant tbh. No way Heaton would have let that in. Genuinely no idea why we signed him and even less idea why we gave him a new contract
