Not sure if he goes on loan, but comfortably the player I am most keen to watch at the moment. Think he can be something incredible.

If Rashford is going to be out for a while, I am sure he can get some game time?

We might even have to play the first league game without Rashford / Sancho so he would be in for a shout?

Martial, Greenwood, Diallo front 3?

Then we have Rashford, Cavani, Sancho coming back. I feel we need to have these options available and ready for the season, we know Ole likes to go strong in all competitions.

I liked him in that false striker position against Wolves, hope Ole tries that again in one of the cups.

Seems like he's off to the Olympics. Which is a shame because he might well have played a fair bit while Rashford is away.

Doesn't sound like he is going on loan. Which is good as I think he is better than James already

Surely he will get an extended break after the Olympics depending on how far his country go into the tournament.

Hopefully he will get plenty of game time this season. If hes going go out on loan, ideally a PL towards the lower end of table i.e. brighton where he can llay regularly and develop.

Why would he get an extended break? If anything the Olympics is more like his pre-season.

Selfishly, I hope he comes home soon as featuring for us in pre-season would be very beneficial to him.

He won't get a break as that would mean Bailly would too. Ole has already said it'll be their pre-season

I'm glad about that, I don't want him to go on loan but instead get opportunities here. Probably play all league cup games. He is also versatile so can play #10 for us too.

You don't loan special talents. Furthermore, he has shown when he's played that he can bring something to the first team.

You loaned Beckham. Spurs loaned Kane. Maybe that rough and tumble of playing regular full games against people who will target him is exactly what he needs. Because if he is as good as people say then that is exactly what will happen to him in the Prem.

That was about five games.

I think he's the type who needs to develop in the right kind of team. Can't just drop him into the Championship. We don't want him in games where the ball is constantly sailing over his head.

To be fair, they are in the same group as Brazil and Germany. I don't know who Brazil and Germany brought into their squad but that's tough group and has potential to go home early.

Of you look at us historically we don't loan our top level talent 9 times out of 10.

Other clubs might but it's not something we do generally.

We usually only loan out the level below players.

Ivory Coast are in a group with Brazil, Germany and Saudi Arabia. The final group games will take place on the 28th of July with the top two teams advancing to the quarter finals.

I think there's a good chance he might be returning to Manchester on the 28th, but it also wouldn't surprise me if the Ivorians upset the apple cart and advanced at the expense of Brazil or Germany. First up for the Ivorians will be Saudi Arabia this Thursday.

The Olympics will be his preseason and I would think he will get enough action with the first team to continue his development.

Should be a good time for me which makes a change so hopefully I will be able to watch the games.

Doubt it. We don't tend to loan top talent. Given the chance he could easily be ahead of James.

Looks way better to me.
Based on what? His limited senior appearances so far?
He is not and will not be ahead of James this season,

Not at first no. Possibly a few months in.

I've preferred what I've seen from Amad to everything we have seen from James.

More technical, more composed and simply more talent in my book.

Given the chance I don't see James staying ahead in the pecking order for the entire season.

I think we will sell James if we get a decent bid.

I dont think he will go on loan. I actually think there is quite a lot of pressure on him this season.. He is an expensive top young talent and has had his breaking in period last season with a few appearances.

But getting games wont be easy for him this season, even with Rashford in surgery, he may still have Sancho and Greenwood ahead of him, with posible pressure from a couple fo youngsters and if he doesnt get games and Pellesri comes back from a successful loan, even harder for him to play.

NOt saying that is a bad thing and though he hasnt doene much so far in his appearances, have been brief glimpses of a lot of talent there

It remains to be seen what is decided about his prospects for the new season. But he's a player that can potentially provide solutions in several positions in attack. He could play either side or even through the middle and it might actually be a good idea to show some faith in his ability over the likes of Dan James and Mata, who for me aren't good enough.
