The price is ridiculous because he’s important to us. Good keeper and will improve as he goes on. Not as awful as he’s made out to be. Can’t afford to turn down a big offer though, would help us secure our targets.
As long as you don’t spunk it all on Liverpool reserves

I feel inclined to go along with you because I feel like Pickford is the same for us. 5-10 games a season he drops a clanger or is shite but they’re the 5-10 games everyone sees to form an opinion of. I feel like Ramsdale is the same. Every time I have seen him he’s looked rubbish but yeah.

There would be questions asked if we signed him for 20M, let alone 32M... This is really not the area to blow huge money on this summer.
Amazon has one hell of a job to make it look like people know what they're doing at Arsenal.

Yeah same thing. Nobody watches us unless we play a top 6 side so if he has a bad game it’s seen by most people.

Strangely, i rate Pickford unlike many others here  I think he’s a very good keeper and certainly can play for a top six club

Yeah has been since the start of the month. Not such a hot property regardless of his rep on here.
Every time he played for us I thought he played really well, rarely made a mistake & often made some great saves, I ain't got clue what went wrong for him at UTD.

Arsenal would be better off getting him for nowt than forking out £35m on Ramsdale despite the age difference & the fact Arsenal have already screwed over one Argentinian goalie.

World gone crazy that a limited DM like him goes for 60m. Scott McTomanay must be worth 70m atleast then.
You obviously rate McTominay highly then,,,,even though you cant spell his name.

Rice has improved each season by a margin for me. Yes so has McTominay, but Rice is still two years younger, just out of the U21 age group lets not forget.

I can get some people saying they are quite similar....but I do think positionally defensively and being aware defensively of what is around him, Rice is already far better than McTominay, which does make him muchc more suitable for the double pivot or a single pivot if we are playing either.

Personally I think £60m as ludicrous as it sounds as it is a high fee, is a reasonable one for Rice. As for limited, dotn get me wrong, not saying he is technically excellent, a play maker etc etc......but he has shown signs he is able to drive with the ball and shoot more over the last season at West Ham.

Rice AND Camavinga with a couple of our midfielders moving on would be perfect for me.....I dont see us signing two even if for exampel Pogba goes, maybe then Rice is a bit similar and not the right option, think he woul dbe a very good signing if it isnt at a ridiculous fee though

No i dont rate Scott and Rice. I find it silly that people are happy to spend 60m on a player like him.

English tax they say.

I heard ages ago his knees were gone and he wouldn't stand up to a full season as first choice which if true would explain why he was without a club when we picked him up and still without one now.

I don't recall him ever doing anything stand-out though.

From Diego Simeone's interview in Marca:
Q: What do you think of the possible departure of Saúl?
A (Simeone): You know better than anyone what Saúl has asked for and sought. He has shared a lot of time. After so many time the players need air and after so many years last season it cost them more.

In his exclusive interview with Gianluca di Marzio, Andreas Pereira makes the following key quotes about his future:
At Lazio I always gave my best in the time I was allowed. I think my performance could be better if I had more minutes and more freedom to play. When you come in at the end of the game, the task you have to do tactically is not the best. I would like to return to the Biancoceleste if I was given more time.

I love the style of play and the team spirit that exists in Serie A. Lazio has priority in my heart, but your country has won me over, so why shouldn't I return [to Italy] one day if the opportunity arises?

I hope next season will be the best of my life, I'm working on this. Physically and mentally I'm ready to take responsibility on the pitch: I want to play.
