fuking crazy deal if this has merit....34m is a fuking steal and no way Woodward would have had the sack to get this type of deal. Murtaugh is having a cracking first window

In California here we have an 8 hour time difference. Woke up to HERE WE GO!!! Amazing! What a summer so far!! Delighted with Varane and Sancho - unreal signings. Now to get some deadwood out the door and maybe add one or two more!
Having to wait another 8 hours before the news breaks there must be gutting.

Surprised it’s not been a straight swap for Pogba (considering the price PSG are rumoured to be looking at), or swap plus extra £10m for Pogba.

Tbh won’t be surprised if it end’s up being that. Either directly, or indirectly and we accept a bid from Real for Pogba once Varane is done.
Real isn't looking to add to their wages outside of Alaba and Mbappe this summer.

Impatient muppets: “jUsT pAy ThE fEcKiNg €60m”

A week later: deal done for £34m.

Negotiations are pointless.

We’re getting him and Sancho for less than the €120m quoted last year for just Sancho.

I think it’s what they owe to Lens as he was bought as an academy player.
Why would Real Madrid pay La Liga for a youth product from the French league?
And why are they being so generous, when they could have easily asked United to cover the extra 1 mil
If this is all true, then it’s a cracking deal to be honest.

Just in time for the rain. Its literally the end of the heatwave tomorrow and it's forecast rain in manchester. It would've been nice to lull him in during the heatwave.

Then again I read a few weeks back that Varane is from Lille which is northern France and has a very similar climate to Britain so he isn't exactly grown up around great weather.

A bit cheaper than the "just pay the asking price!" lot wanted us the pay then.

Genuinely thought Varane was using us to get a better deal at Real. Absolutely stoked he is actually signing for us and that too for a price of 35/40ml.

Romano used to work for DM, but he left to go it alone.

DM has had quite a few ‘’misses” since then, he’s obviously not got the patience or desire for social media.

Romano has evolved into the next level of transfer reporting embracing social media.
I think people have brushed over a few of Fabs misses during that same time.

He was off the mark quite clearly on Sancho last year as one that comes to mind.

These debates are a bit tiring now but my take is Fab mainly piggy backs off the back of specific journos who are reliable for specific clubs/leagues. It’s quite clear imo.

Take yesterday’s news of the breakthrough in negotiations, he was last to report it and when asked just said ‘wait till tonight for my news on Varane.’ If he had news he would have broken his neck to be the first to break it.

No transfer is a certainty to be a success but Sancho and Varane for around £110m is as good as it gets! Can you imagine how envious we'd be if any of our rivals pulled this off? Now for that CM...

I'd like us have another CB lined up for the next window/Jan, we are still one CB injury of playing Victor fecking Lindelof, even someone in the mould of Cavani. Was gonna say hell even JOse font on a one year deal, just seen he's 37, alright then.. De Light & Haaland 2022, it is then:-)
