I see Ali still trying to somehow prevent the Makhachev (5) vs Dariush (3) fight (both his clients). That's the fight that makes sense ranking wise to keep the division moving. Gaethje (2) vs Chandler (4) should be the other one, while Dustin (1) fights the Champ.
Who’s the little fella on the right? For some reason he’s been all over my Instagram “explore” page all summer.

This trash talk is odd when speaking about RDA as well, someone who will fight whoever.

McGregor needs to just feck off at this stage hasn’t been relevant for years since Khabib beat him and comes out with shit like this constantly, telling people to spit clean his belts for him is he delusional..
He is a scumbag and the tweet is clearly out of order but the problem is he is hugely relevant, his fights still do massive numbers, his social media gets the most traction, his name stirs up the most debate etc. Look at this thread after he fights compared to anyone else.

Hasbulla! He's a social media personality, he's from Dagestan and mates with Khabib etc. Just does vidoes mimicking them

"Covid good, Father evil?" something like that
I bet the Irish people are embarrassed of him. I've met many Irish, and they're lovely people, this idiot giving them a bad name. (I know one person doesn't represent a nation but you know how it is)

Irish people adore an international sporting success. It says it all about McGregor that barely anyone respects or admires him here.

He’s generally despised in Ireland (apart from a small army of high fade haircutted fanbois online)

If he just dipped out of the sport before the Khabib debacle, I think he would have been a little more adored/had a better brand. Most of the stuff until that specific rivalry was really funny trash talk and he always came out quite likeable after fights (win or lose).

Since that Khabib rivalry, he just went down a dark path.

It was in between the period of Alvarez/Mayweather/Khabib really.

By Khabib he'd lost the plot completely but even some of the Alvarez stuff was a bit weird. Mayweather it got cringing by the end but still had it's moments of being really funny. The first press conference where he said he didn't know it'd be a press conference etc was the highlight, after that it was slowly downhill.

Khabib posted after Poirers last fight good always beats evil.

Khabib dad died of covid

McGregors tweet is disrespectful his dad.
Khabib's dad died from COVID.
Khabib said good always defeats evil after Poirier beat McGregor last time out. Khabib's dad died from complications from Covid.
Thanks guys. After saying he would kill Porier and his wife in their sleep it’s hard to even react, it’s like he’s shrinking into a child who you can’t take seriously, just saying terrible things because he wants attention.

Behaving like a five year old shouldn't command any attention. It's just fuelling the never ending circus act. Virtually nothing Conor does warrants any attention, yet people just can't help themselves. Media are using casuals to generate clicks and income. C'mon at this point, it's nothing but boooring!

Hello everyone. I wasn't able to watch last weekend's card as just before the fights were about to start, I was hit with some pretty dark personal news.

My favorite female fighter Maycee was on that card. I've read plenty of people and media members calling the fight a robbery, but leaving that aside, was her performance better than in previous fights ?

Thanks

Not really. Was a super low level fight. Maverick won by being a little less shit.

Zero chance Maycee becomes the youngest UFC champ ever. Needs to improve massively if she wants to be champion one day in the distant future.

I also doubt about her championship prospects. But hopeful that at some point she will become a consistent top ten fighter.

She has made a big training camp change recently, to Alpha Male. Maybe that will produce technical growth

And what about the main event, was it the kind of fight everyone expected ?

I really enjoyed it, felt very high level. TJ was constantly pushing the pace but I think Sandhagen landed more and did slightly more damage. TJ also appeared to injure his knee early on. It was razor close in the end and not a robbery but you can easily argue either fighter won.

Hope whatever bad news you got, you're doing ok mate.

Just saw the McGregor comment, what a scumbag he is. There's trash talk and there's really crossing a line... then waaaaay beyond that is what he said.

I think that is the only way he can be relevant and shame on Dana and the UFC as they would have the fecker back at a moments notice.

Money over integrity.

His stock must be at an all time low and now falling further for sure, hopefully he will soon lose his appeal and we won't have to see him talk shite and get knocked out every year.

The Jeremy Stephens “who the feck is that guy?” is my personal favourite. It might be my favourite MMA press conference line of all time after Chael Sonnen’s “the only person I know who made money using her mouth was Tito’s ex-wife” bit about Jenna Jameson, which was even funnier because chael talked Tito into walking into it

I also liked when that money channel presenter told Conor and Nate to calm down and count to 10 and McGregor says "Nate can only count to 5"

He was so quick with his trash talk and was genuinely funny. Now compare lines like these to "Jolie's Woife"... cringe.

The weekend was terrible but i'm doing slightly better right now. Trying to take one day at a time, you know ? Thank you.

So just to follow this up, do people expect Pitbull to spoil the Mckee party in a major way ? AJ walks like a boss and talks like a boss so it's probably a boss, but he's going up against a savage.

Would be more interesting if AJ wins but tough to call. I think Pitbull will have the experience edge to win but it's really interesting to see how this pans out.

Hey man, thank you.

I am aware though, that lots of people have been enduring difficult moments since the global pandemic hit, so i'm trying to not make my own pain higher than that from others.
Every individuals experience is relative. Everyone pain is equally painful to each person. Keep strong mate. All the best.

Exactly. I think first round will be very competitive. The longer it goes, perhaps the better Pitbull would get... but let's find out. Mckee might just be that special talent that Bellator wished MVP could be.

Once again thank you.

Yeah I think that was the best line in a press conference that one and it's stuck with Stephens ever since.

Yeah he played off well with Diaz they worked well together because of the contrating personalities. That last minute press conference had some great lines

"He makes gun signs with his right hand and animal balloons with his left"

"I don't give a feck about the belt..."
"Then why bring it everywhere?"

Glad you're doing slightly better now pal, hopefully keep improving day by day!

I think McKee will win, it's a massive fight for Bellator though, definitelyt their best fighters at the moment and probably 2 of their best ever.

Think McKee is destined for the UFC eventually, might be to late for Pitbull unless he leaves in the next year or so.

Thanks @Oggmonster !

I just wonder if Mckee can keep the same level of performance over extended rounds. I think he has finished his fights waay to fast, so we don't know what happens if he doesn't do that ?

Mcgregor has narcisistic personality disorder and also he hates the fact that Khabib decided to retire before he could get a rematch.
