As much as I like Grealish - £100 million for a 26 year old midfielder like him is insane.

Funny that because they wanted him last season.

Adama isn't going to help you gain European football either, hugely overrated and has put up good numbers for a while.
The aim wasn't Europe last season.

Adama fell back last season certainly after Wolves sold Jota and Jiminez was out injured but bearing in mind he would only be a back up squad player his ceiling is much higher than Perreira or James.

For any side other than City/PSG. It make no difference whatsoever to shitty.
Hopefully Villa see an opportunity to squeeze out 110m for themselves, it’s about time this state ownership mask slips so everyone can see exactly what football is dealing with.

Not even vibes. This is just racism towards South Americans!
Yeah I thought about that but the vibe thing is very weird. How do you know a player would sulk here as well?

Kudos to Arsenal if they get him. If they manage to get Martinez and Odegaard, that would be a major improvement to their squad.

Feels like all the united rumours have dried up completely. Guess anything else will be nearer the end of the summer now.
You'd have to imagine a lot of our focus now is on trimming the squad a bit and get some of the wages off the books. We'll have other targets, but at this point our squad is a bit too bloated.

Such a weird take. Judging a player from vibes.
Did I say he's a bad player? ADM is a good player, who didn't suit us. I have the feeling that even if Martinez is a good player, he won't suit us and it won't turn out good for both club and player.

Such a weird take. Judging someone's judgement, without actually knowing what's their take on the player's abilities.

So do mean judging means calling someone only good or bad?

You clearly judge him as a 'sulking' player.
Exactly the vibes I get with him. Ala Sanchez, Di Maria. We don't need another sulking player. We already have Martial.
And regarding your judgement bs, you can try to shift goalposts every now and then but it doesn't change the fact that you judged a player as 'sulking' simply by getting some sort of 'vibe'. And that is weird.

I thought Odegaard was as “meh” a loan signing as I’ve seen.
I have heard only praises for him by the Arsenal fans. I don't follow their games and don't interact a lot with them fans so maybe they hype up all of their players.

I should probably know better because there's a newbie in the Arsenal thread claiming that Holding is better than Maguire.

Is he an improvement on what they already have?

I understand that having options coming off the bench can make a big difference, but it wont necessarily push city to another level unless they address the glaring issues in their squad being an out and out striker.

They won last year because they benefited from having essentially two squads to rotate with. That wont be such a large issue this year.
I think he would be an improvement yes, the way he holds onto the ball would be like cheating in a Pep side you’d never get it back and he can create a lot as well.

Of course they haven’t got a striker to put them away but we seen last season they didn’t particularly need one.

I'm unsure as to where he's falling back from though? Last season 2g & 2a in 37 games, 19/20 he had 4g & 9a in 37 games, 18/19 1g & 1a. If you're signing him to challenge to get into Europe, good luck!

Don't know what their transfer record is but in the last 3 years, the most Fenerbahçe have spent buying any player is £13m. It seems they'll pay about that. I suspect United want more.

I expect United would accept about £15 m or so...would be strange if not.

I know fenerbahce very well. They have a chairman with lots of money but 25m is not a price any Turkish team can pay. They have paid slightly above 10m before but that is only if they have invested in a player which they believe they could also resell later and I am not sure how much resell value they would find in Pereira. Given my knowledge to the teams in Turkey, fenerbahce would only be his next destination if the price is somewhere below 10m. The question is will we sell him for 10m or below? I would personally sell him for 10m with a 20-30% of future sale value as top of that.

  • Juventus want a 2-year loan with a conditional purchase obligation
This is so ridiculous. Juventus want to get the player for two years, then be able to decide at the end if they actually want him or not?!

We realistically aren't going to get much more than that for Pereira.

Andreas 25m fee comes from the loan agreement that we inserted with an option to buy, I don't think Utd were expecting to get this amount but it's just a way to set the value high to negotiate when his loan finishes.

What does being 26 have to do with anything?
Surely he's just coming into his absolute peak with still time to sell on later.

Big clubs don't buy with an eye to selling on though. (I know city aren't "big" compared to us etc etc)

Buddy, there's at least one more person who thinks in a similar way, as what you picked on was a reply to someone else. I don't get why are you so fired up. Are you Lautaro's biggest fan? Or is he your fellow countryman and you feel obliged to defend him? I'm not sure, but I told you once - go pick on somebody else. I'm telling you again - go pick on someone else or go pick your nose or take your peepee out and start playing with it to fill your time. Leave me the feck alone.
