Ocon deserves huge praise, under pressure the entire race from Vettel, who is much more experienced in that position, and he held his nerve.

And he also has Alonso to thank. Alonso once again showing he is absolutely brilliant. If Hamilton had passed him even 2 laps earlier, he might have had a shot at the leaders.

Great driving from Hamilton despite the debacle at the beginning with the tyres.

Unlucky for Max. Never had a chance after his damaged car.

Bottas and Stroll are both moronic.

That was a great race. Really entertaining with all the chaos and Hamilton having to come through the pack.

Really happy for Ocon getting the win.

Imagine being so salty you boo Hamilton after that drive. I’m assuming it’s the Dutch fans.

Great drive by Alonso who won the race for Ocon. The whining from Hamilton was unbelievable. Good race from him though.

Quite a race today, just a shame the title race threatens to get one-sided because Mercedes keep ramming their rival. Weird way to win.

F1 would be 800% better if the fastest cars started at the back and the slowest at the front.

Red Bull need to use this break to clear their emotions. Been unfortunate the last few weeks but it happens in racing and they need to regroup and refocus because they still have a very fast, competitive car, and need to focus on moving forward instead of being frustrated with the past.

Is it the most George Russell thing to finally score points at Williams…..but finish behind his teammate.

Lewis for driver of the day. He gave us a race and let us watch his masterclass today. If he didn't feck up by not pitting initially, he would have lapped everyone in an easy win but instead we got a great race today.
Nah, not even close. Ocon was faultless and the way Alonso held off Lewis in a far inferior car was fantastic.

I think I'm successfully starting to enjoy F1. This race was great to watch. Especially that Alonso Hamilton battle.

Crazy race. I will never forget the day I saw only one car start the race with everyone else in the pits. What would’ve happened if Hamilton also pitted? Would the 5 red lights just go out? Imagine the scenes.

This season is very entertaining. Especially since I’m not that inclined for who wins it. Sure, I’d prefer Verstappen over Hamilton. But if it isn’t a Ferrari fighting for it, I don’t really care.

Oh and Alonso V Hamilton. That’s what fF1 should be about. Close wheel to wheel action. Hopefully 2022 lives up to its hype. (I highly doubt it)

What a epic race, can't help but get emotional watching a driver win their first race. Lewis looked absolutely fcuked on the podium, like he was having a panic attack or something.

Lewis did not look well at all on that podium. Great drive from him.

Yeah man, that was surreal seeing Hamilton starting off all by himself. I thought they knew it was going to rain again, but it ended up being a mess up
Really interesting, I do hope Max gets back to his best to continue keeping this feisty all the way till the end.

He's been quite fortunate in many respects though, the race he went out, Hamilton pressed a button and blew the chance to win, then this race he goes off, his car damaged, and Hamilton / Mercedes stuff up and cost him a more than likely easy win.
No he has not.

In Baku his tyre blows up while cruising to the win, not his fault. Hamilton then makes a mistake on the restart that is entirely his fault. Net gain for Hamilton in the championship standings (-7 to 0).

Today Max is hit by a shunted Norris while in second, not his fault. Hamilton/Mercedes make a terrible strategy call, entirely their fault. Another net gain for Hamilton in the standings (+7 to +14)
