Norwegian based journalist writing articles for a Spanish newspaper, somehow getting the inside track on the inner workings of the Manchester United boardroom. Not buying it.

As for evidence, this is what he said a few minutes ago:

I bet it's something he read on somebody else's Twitter. Probably Dean Jones again.
His source that he needs to protect is another journalist? Yeah that makes sense

what is this new bullshit that keeps popping up on the forum? Pogba and Bruno played together tons of times last year and we didn’t just get “ran through”?

If you mean allowing them to play as pure out and out attacking midfielders with three forward ahead of them, well no, there is simply no defensive midfielder that would allow that. Busquests still needs a Xavi and now a De Jong.
You edited, so yeah, that was the point I was making, there's no holding midfielder on earth than can allow Pogba and Bruno to play as #8's with a front 3 ahead of them in a 4-3-3 system.

Agree totally. This is the biggest misconception on the caf.

Driven by those with the hysterical Pogba agenda or HPA as I call it. Where the sufferer tricks themselves into believing Pogba is a bubbling buffoon who is inept at football.

In reality we just need a single, decent, fit DM to balance this out against 95% of opposition.

Bayern seemed to be obstructive for a long time, Zirkzee wanted to go from the start [to] RSC Anderlecht. Negotiations gained momentum today. A loan without a purchase option is realistic. It is hoped to complete this week.

EDIT: 2nd Tweet translation
Thomas Delaney ends his European Championship vacation this Monday. Borussia Dortmund and the Dane will then make a decision about his future - there is a clear tendency [for Delaney to leave the club].

Leaving Dortmund for those three would be a pretty weird career choice, though he'd probably make more money.

Ismaël on Matheus Pereira:
I have spoken with Matheus for a few weeks. He was clear he wants to leave. He is not committed to the Championship and not committed to us. I accept this decision but I have to take my decision and now we need to solve the situation.

At the minute we are talking but there is nothing clear. At the minute I am just focused on the guys who are ready to play for West Brom, ready to embrace the fight in the Championship. We need to have players who are motivated to work for each other. I don’t need the best player or the most expensive player. I need the right player with the right mentality.

To be fair his artistic tweets aside he’s reliable for Madrid. I’d be fascinated to see the chain reaction an mbappe transfer would have on the market - how would PSG react?
I dont even understand why they buy him now. He only wants Real Madrid and can leave on a free next year.

Yeah he’s reliable, if memory serves me right he got things correctly during the short Varane saga as well.

As for Mbappe, it’d be interesting to see who PSG replace him with. Hopefully they piss Barca off again somehow.

Can’t see Mbappe leaving this summer though.

They'd splurge on Martial of course

Al Thani has given authorization to Nasser Al-Khelaïfi to negotiate the departure of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid, with a starting price of € 200M, Florentino Perez has already been informed and is not willing to pay that amount."

What happens in the next few days will prove me right. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has lowered the claims for the French to € 175M, Florentino Perez is one away from accepting or not."

€175m with only a year left during covid times is crazy.

How much he will go for with 3 year left in his contract on a pre-covid economy? €500m?

Let's say PSG accept the lowered offer. Then what PSG gonna do with the money to replace Mbappe? If Haaland really stays for another year, which striker getting signed? Kane? Griezmann? Ronaldo?

It took him just 5 weeks to bulk up?

Think I'm working out wrong. :nervous:
Give yourself 5 weeks where you don't have to go to work a day job, where you can afford to hire a full time personal trainer and a full time nutritionist.

You'd be surprised at the changes you could make.

IF they sell I could see some combo of Griezmann/Kean/Pogba with those funds. Though they weren't at full strength today Icardi does not look good and hasn't done much for them. Felt like Kean was putting in some serious shifts towards the end of last season for them. I think their fans are mixed on him.

Do you really think Madrid will pay 150m if they can get him for free next year?

There’s a certain free agent they’d love to get their hands on. ;-)

They did something similar with Hazard not long ago.

This Real Madrid is toothless. They had become over reliant on Benzema, who will turn 34 in few month time. Unlike some other clubs, wasting a season not showing ambition may be more damaging to their financial health than paying for a super star. They had already been losing out to other past few seasons after Ronaldo left, both goals and super star aura. They're trying addressing the rot if possible.

Edit: I haven't double checked the statistic, but Wikipedia has Benzema as top scorer with 30 goals this past season. Nobody else reached double digits! Second top scorer only got 7 goals total. That's how lackluster this Real Madrid attack currently is at the moment.
