The United Stand??

Go Google the Manchester Evening news then or any credible news source.

I said even the United Stand, btw the guy built a you tube business of over 1 million subscribers, and has Fabrizio Romano on his show regularly
...something you would not have the potential to do.

Reading a novel in the class of '92
I’m happy enough they’re splurging so much on a player they don’t really need and who isn’t better than what they have. It’s a shame though as he was my favourite English player.
might be ‘controversial’ , or could be that I’m not english, but what exactly warrants 100 milion for Graelish? 8 PL goals as highest tally in the Premier League. To put things in perspective Ronaldo from Madrid to Juve and Bale from Spurs to Madrid were 100 milion (euro/pound) transfers.

Not intending to be ‘controversial’ / more a genuine question.

You can't cite a click bait merchant (United Stand) as the standout credible source.

Cat video channels get over 1 million subscribers. Maybe we should choose them as a source.

Interesting to see whether he will actually play as an #8 and if so, whether it will suit him. But what a move for him. And Villa have done extremely well in preparation for the move.

If it's Bernando Silva out for £50 million and Grealish in for £100 million, I actually think City are worse off financially and talent wise. Silva is a cracking player who suits City's style of football better than Grealish. Not worried one bit about this transfer.

Erm. No. Signing Jack for £50m in that case is a great deal. Foden and Mahrez can cover the right. Grealish and Sterling on the left.

Obviously he’s a top quality footballer, but the fee is huge. Sancho for almost £30m less is great business.

Feel City also wanted him even more after how much love he got from the entire nation during the Euro’s. Big attraction for their PR team no doubt.

Shame - loved watching him play. But as other has said, I rather they sign him instead of Kane as they are still in need of a striker.

I rate Bernardo Silva think he is class but no way are they worse off talent wise. My cousin is a bit Villa fan so I watch them quite regularly he can do everything. He will make city much better

What a shame. I am not even sure if it is a good transfer as the fee is massive but obviously he is a special player. But i am really mad as Grealish was always a player i liked to watch and liked the most out of all the non-United players. That time is over now...

Every time I've watched City it's been either Foden or Sterling on the left and Mahrez or Silva on the right, so not sure whether Grealish gives them more balance or not.

Put it this way, I personally don't think Grealish is twice as good as Silva. I think Grealish liked being the big fish in a small pond at Villa so it'll be interesting to see whether he can step up and shine for City.

Brilliant signing.
Top top player. Will likely secure City the league title again.

Fair enough, I agree he's a big talent.

I think it's going to be interesting to see whether he'll suit Pep's style of football.

Because that's still an obscene amount to pay for a player who's position isn't one we're lacking in. Sancho is a much better fit for us.

Still won't start for England, haha! That's some serious coin for Grealish.

I don't know how much pressure he'll be under since City get a free pass in the media and he's not a Manchester United player nor named Paul Pogba, Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford, etc.

Bernardo will be on his way out after this transfer. Wouldn’t be surprised to see another one leave to accommodate for the potential arrival of Kane, although I’m not sure who. Sterling or Jesus, probably.
