I've received mine.

There's advice with it that if you cannot attend the game yourself, and you want someone else to go instead, that you have to add them to your friends list and that they should join as members, although, I have noticed that you can simply screenshot the digital QR code and send it to anyone's elses phone, so all the steps encouraged by the club are mostly nonsense.

And the website is so clunky and unusable, that it actually took ten minutes just to log into my own account, so screw adding in other peoples details.

Has anyone else had a look into this?

It'd be interesting to see what happens if multiple people all try to enter with the same QR code.

I presume that the first person gets access and everyone else afterwards doesn't. It would be difficult to mix up the tickets, as they are all game specific and have the match details, date and time etc..

I presume if you delegate access for a match they only receive a bespoke QR code to access that match - not a QR code that matches you season ticket and gets you in for everything?

The idea of relying on Internet access at Old Trafford to access your ticket is pretty funny.

If you forward it properly via the website or print at home ticket the QR code is specific to that one game, if you screenshot your season ticket and send it to a mate that can be used throughout the rest of the season.

I was very skeptical at first as I really liked having a physical season ticket and was worried that I would find it difficult to access it at the stadium as I never get a signal there. However, it has attached the ticket to my apple wallet so it is quite a smart little feature they have made here, so will go into season with cautious optimism that it could work.

You don't really need internet access tbf, you can just add it to your phone wallet, similar to a train or plane ticket.

My biggest worry is that my phone runs out of battery and I can't gain access to the stadium.

I know, I’m a ST holder, but a turnstyle is a turnstyle, it accepts one code per entry, otherwise you’d have Hillsborough x 10 on your hands.
The turnstiles - much like stuff you don't even think about like the air conditioning in the stadium - were victim to the cyber attack. Anything that uses Uniteds systems was offline. Given they've still not fixed the air con, who knows what they've cobbled together to get the turnstiles operational.

I have a question about this. Someone is transferring me a ticket to the Leeds game via my membership. I also have someone else who has agreed to give me a second ticket so I can bring my mate. Can both of these tickets be held on my membership, or is it only one per membership? I.e. one of them would have to be transferred directly to my mate, rather than me having both on my membership?

I would assume only 1 ticket per membership but try it and let us know !

Will my season ticket QR code get me into the stadium? Or are we supposed to be getting individual QR codes for each game?

Try testing it out by turning off your WiFi and data and then accessing the ticket via your wallet. If you can you'll be OK with no signal at the stadium. Enjoy the game.

Worked perfectly without any kind of internet connection so should be fine going forwards.

I like the gift package with my season ticket. Having a QR code just isn’t the same
I agree, I like having the stuff you got with the card. But it works and is hassle free so I will get over it.

Mine didn't work for both the STs I have but was advised to get in touch with the relevant people who can send replacement QR codes to get it sorted.

You still get the stuff you got with the card. The only difference is instead of a plastic ticket you get a QR code. If you have an iphone it goes into your apple wallet which is dead handy.

I only got the digital season ticket(QR code), I didn’t get anything else from the club. I am happy with the QR code, it works fine for me.

Oh no. I had that fear too, but ours worked fine. Did they let you in?
Yeah they let us with no drama, said it was a pretty common issue and the guy at the turnstile knew me from pre-pandemic as I've had the same seat since 2018.

We haven’t had anything other than the digital ticket either.
No problems getting in at all. There wasn’t even a queue at the turnstile.

I’ve got a ticket for the game today, first time back this season for me, can I get into the stadium by scanning the barcode on my ticket that I have on email?
