Starts on the bench against Brest in Ligue 1. 17 year old Lesley Oguchukwu starts in midfield.

His heads been turned. Until the window closes its best not to play a player who isn't fully focused. He needs to do himself a favour and figure out where his future lies.

Haaland did the same and he made the wrong move. He would have became a better player here not in Dortmund.

He would be training with better players at United in a squad aimed at promoting youth. This isn’t 2015 any longer. The old go to Dortmund trope is outdated now. Coaching setups change.

Remember their managers before were Tuchel and Klopp etc.

Haaland missed out big time on a move here and Camavinga wouldn’t find any better place either to learn his trade either.

Ronaldo didn’t do too bad joining us as a teenager all those years ago did he?
Eh? In his time there he has gone straight in, continued to develop, enjoyed first team football regularly and at 21 is now probably alongside Mbappe the most wanted player in the world and he is going to move probably when with the fee clause for an astronomical salary.....possibly even here, what am I missing in him missing out on? We havent won a trophy since he has been at Dortmund....he has won trophies in his time there. What has Ronaldo joinging a successful side under ALex Ferguson got to do with the side we had when Haaland would have come. This is (and its saying something) one of the most absurd posts I have ever read on here

Possibly gonna be on the bench until he signs a new contract there?
I could see that happening. Rennes have made it clear they don't want him to run his contract down and leave on a free. So it's easy to see why they'd be prioritising the development of their other young promising midfielder(s).

I think if we manage to shift Lingard and Pereira we might make a bid. Not sure he wants to come here though.

I've just seen this. As a lad that wants to start every game, I can't imagine he'd be happy with this.
I think Rennes are making a statement and good on them to be fair. SIgn a new contract or we plan ahead without you regardless of whether you stay or leave.

As for the players personal feelings, why would he be so unhappy, he wants to move on to a higher level himself whether or not that is this summer or when he can move for free.

Hopefully this makes his mind up to leave now....and come here!

Can't spell Mkhitaryan

He wants to play every minute, apparently, It's been reported that this is a key factor in his choice of next club. That said, I can't imagine him getting a starting place at PGS. These are all rumours after all, who really knows what he's thinking.

I know nothing about basketball, is that good?

At least it’s not a full Liverpool kit with hat and boots on a bed….
Yeah he is a white boy ginger who is a legend in the NBA. He was one of the best of his time and he could score 60 points on any given night.

If he moves up to the top level, let’s say PSG or United, there will be plenty of bench for him. I have not watched him a lot, but enough to say he’s not a guaranteed starter at the highest level. Maybe better for him to stay another year or two.

We should hand him an ultimatum - if he doesn’t come now, he never comes.

Read on Twitter that there is a high chance that he comes to us, with Pogba going to Real Madrid on a free transfer next year

Camavinga subbed on for the last 15 minutes with Rennes being held 0-0 by FC Brest.

That was a clear message from Rennes today in my opinion. Either sign a contract or accept a move elsewhere now. They do not want him to run down his contract. There was a lot of encouragment in the stadium when the teamsheets came out and he was on the bench. They were in no rush to bring him on either despite struggling to break Brest down. He got a bit of a hostile reception when we came on but that's just because he's a high profile player of a rival team. I didn't think he was too impressive when he came on, some nice passed but didn't seem to come in and want to prove a point as you'd probably want. My previous time seeing him live was more impressive for sure.

On a side note from Camavinga, we got linked a fair bit with Sulemana, from the two games I have watched, he looks a real player in the making, the build and way he runs reminds me a little bit of Zaha in his first spell at Palace. Can see why we were linked and can see a big move for him in the next year or two. I like Doku as well who was pretty poor today

Camavinga is a natural upgrade on Fred. He would mesh well with McT.
All said, he's going to PSG. What a shame.

Don’t see the point of this transfer if he’s the only one that comes in.

We need someone who can arrive and settle in immediately, who’s played in the PL for a while and has more experience. Neves is the one.
