Schmeichel's Cartwheel
Correctly predicted Italy to win Euro 2020
If your partner got the vaccine & died you wouldn’t be saying that. Not if it's saving thousands? Not rocket science fella.
If your partner got the vaccine & died you wouldn’t be saying that. Not if it's saving thousands? Not rocket science fella.
You've lost me on this logic here so i'll leave you to it.If your partner got the vaccine & died you wouldn’t be saying that.
That's a glib and lazy comment. We all know that, what we can't do is stop it happening by making a wish.1 is too many.
So then let’s stop all modern medicine because pretty much every medication has killed someone inadvertently1 is too many.
Do you think you make the most logical decisions while dispassionate or while emotionally devastated? If your partner got the vaccine & died you wouldn’t be saying that.
What point are you actually trying to make here?If your partner got the vaccine & died you wouldn’t be saying that.
Had to Google that.DNFTT
Absolutely years since I used that acronym.
I thought you were smart. So genuine question, do you intend to discuss properly or are you here to troll?1 is too many.
Feck. Know I feel old.Had to Google that.
I'm probably older than you. I am 40Feck. Know I feel old.
1 death is too many with the vaccine, but >600,000 without it is okay?1 is too many.
Why in gods name would you have thought that?I thought you were smart. So genuine question, do you intend to discuss properly or are you here to troll?
If you want to discuss, I have a question. Will wait on your reply first.
I wish I was still 40I'm probably older than you. I am 40
I’d understand someone’s point if they have a medical reason for not doing so. Otherwise sorry I don’t understand their point and probably never willDidn’t a BBC radio host die due to a serious reaction after taking the AZ one? I suppose her family are selfish pieces of shit for wishing she didn’t get it?
Just be nice & understand other’s point of view. It’s not hard.
Why in gods name would you have thought that?
Big penis tablets? To the unvaxxers.. have they ever taken any type of medication and read the side effects in the pamphlet?
my bp tablets for example said that a side effect may be “death” but I don’t see people mass protesting that.
That is a silly argument. If someone died in a parachuting accident I'm sure their relatives would wish they hadn't gone parachuting that day but I'm fairly sure they wouldn't wish that people started throwing themselves out of planes without one.Didn’t a BBC radio host die due to a serious reaction after taking the AZ one? Time will tell but there are good reasons to think:That is a silly argument.
I'm sure their relatives would wish a parachuting activity better regulated or even forbidden. If someone died in a parachuting accident I'm sure their relatives would wish they hadn't gone parachuting that day but I'm fairly sure they wouldn't wish that people started throwing themselves out of planes without one.
Well let’s say their plane was in danger of crashing and the pilot thinks he might not get it under control and is a advising parachutes and jumping. Is someone going to say “I don’t trust parachutes, they are not designed to open. I will take my chances”We are talking about a dramatic event that just raises somes questions about the side effects of a vaccine.
This tragic death has been really reported because she was a BBC journalist....
Otherwise - in no way - they would have communicated in this way
Time will tell but there are good reasons to think:
- The vaccine efficacy is overrated
- The side effects are underrated
I'm sure their relatives would wish a parachuting activity better regulated or even forbidden.
This is how the average human being reacts.
You really are or this is my (lack of?) german humor kicking in?I don’t know why so many anti vaxxers become so illogical
Haha no I can’t work those people out, or at least I can’t work out many of the reasons they give. They don’t make senseYou really are or this is my (lack of?) german humor kicking in?
But that's exactly what they are all aboutHaha no I can’t work those people out, or at least I can’t work out many of the reasons they give. They don’t make sense
What questions? Someone died from a known but incredibly rare side effect. We know. Given the alternative is huge piles of dead bodies and a collapsed health system and economy vaccination is a no-bainer. Ironic given the through processes (or lack thereof) of anti-vaxxers.We are talking about a dramatic event that just raises somes questions about the side effects of a vaccine.

Good luck regulating or forbidding a virus.I'm sure their relatives would wish a parachuting activity better regulated or even forbidden.
This is how the average human being reacts.
Maybe they were never logical to start with?I don’t know why so many anti vaxxers become so illogical
Oh, for feck sake. What baseless drivel. We are talking about a dramatic event that just raises somes questions about the side effects of a vaccine.

We're around 10 months into vaccination with said vaccines and I'm surprised this is your conclusion, honestly. Every statistic there is shows how effective the vaccines work and how minor the side effects generally are and how rare major side effects occur, especially compared to the alternative - an infection with corona.
- The vaccine efficacy is overrated
- The side effects are underrated
Interesting. Considering we can’t forbid COVID, I would be very interested in your views on better regulation for it. By that I’m assuming what you mean that we should have restrictions and lockdowns in place indefinitely rather than using this vaccine approach?I'm sure their relatives would wish a parachuting activity better regulated or even forbidden.

The general public is provided with some vaccine efficacy rates that are quite high (sometimes near 100%).We're around 10 months into vaccination with said vaccines and I'm surprised this is your conclusion, honestly. @Wibble
You have recourse to argumentum ad hominem but I am perfectly fine with that because I sometimes do the same!
The general public is provided with some vaccine efficacy rates that are quite high (sometimes near 100%).
I know the vaccines are effective in real life but I can see that:
- some lockdowns in highly-vaccinated countries
- people now recommend a 3rd dose
The problem is so complex, multi-dimensional and new that it is maybe an impossible task in the short run to really assess the vaccine effect.
I just invite people to be more intellectually humble when it comes to analysing stats
I do not have any recommendations to make.Interesting. Considering we can’t forbid COVID, I would be very interested in your views on better regulation for it. By that I’m assuming what you mean that we should have restrictions and lockdowns in place indefinitely rather than using this vaccine approach?
Even if we both know nothing on the matter, I would need to know your definition of "effectiveness" before thinking about the opportunity (or not) to answer your question. At its most basic the vaccine is to stop deaths and hospitalisation so why don’t you start with those stats too assess its effectiveness?
To prevent deaths and hospitalisation, of which we can see they are very effective at.I do not have any recommendations to make.
Even if we both know nothing on the matter, I would need to know your definition of "effectiveness" before thinking about the opportunity (or not) to answer your question.
They are effective but we still have a lot of things to learn about the degree of efficacy. To prevent deaths and hospitalisation, of which we can see they are very effective at.
Aren't we still in the middle of a pandemic? With around 700-800k reported cases per day worldwide, "endemic" sounds like an euphemism.Great news in Denmark where the government have now announced that on 10th September Covid-19 will now longer be classed as a risk to society.
Thailand, Singapore, more and more countries moving rightfully in the endemic phase.
Just in time for my Copenhagen half marathon on 19th Sept too
Without the vaccines, yes.Aren't we still in the middle of a pandemic?
Logic and antivax are mutually exclusive.I don’t know why so many anti vaxxers become so illogical
