I fail to see why to see why Ronaldo putting Martial on the bench would make Hannibal Mejbri leave the club
You fail to see my argument. We are giving young players 1 or 2 games a season to say we are giving youth a chance, but we are not giving anyone an extended run.
Hannibal should be getting all Lingards time and Elrnga shold be getting James's time
I know times are different from the time when Busby introduced the babes, but Barca introduced Perdri last year to great effect. How do we know if Hannibal can reach that level unless we give him a chance

He doesn't do them deals - sorry. It's the other fella you've been dealing with (he likes to pretend he's the other fecker).

But good luck (I've heard it sometimes turns out alright - at least at first).
Now I’m scared to break it and that it actually happened ….:nervous:

I am loving this, I don’t care about pens, I don’t care about shirt numbers or that he isn’t as good as ten years ago, I’m just loving it.

If we continue to use Paul on the left and Bruna as a false 9, it leaves with
Christiano
Cavani
Mason
Jadon
James
Antony
Markus
fighting for 2 spots
because we didnt have the insight to get a good defensive midfielder to replace McFred but we sign a 38 year old Legend.
What if he scores 30 goals and wins Ballon D'or but we end up 4th after Chelsea, City and Liverpool and get knocked out of the CL in the last 16. But we make millions on shirt sales and sponsorships. Will that be worth it? Are we a football club or a business?
You’ve posted utter shite all day but I just want to say - spell their names correctly please.

Pogba will almost certainly be moved back into midfield now unless we're completely nuts. Ronaldo will play on the left and Greenwood will rotate with Cavani up front. I just wonder what will happen when Rashford comes back.

ABU's out already
oh ffs....like he's never played against top CB's before and had success. Shit, he practiced every day against the best center back pairing in all of europe in Bonucci and Chiellini.

I don't really get people being over the moon with this transfer, bearing in mind our midfield problem.
Nostalgia aside, now we have to shoehorn Bruno, Ronaldo, Pogba and Sanchez into a team with no defensive midfielder or proper cm.
And all the talk about moving to 442 with Fred and MCT in centre midfield
We will be overrun by decent teams. Yes, we well thrash someone on our day but longterm, this is a disaster.
Also, I can't see Cavani, Martial and Greenwood being happy with this signing.
God help us.

I actually can’t believe we have just signed Ronaldo. I’m actually in shock. I know he won’t be the same player as 10 years ago but he has a lot to offer still.

Very happy about it. Signing a player who is a certainty to score at least 10 goals in a season for 12M is a good deal. At worst he'll give us a 2005-06 season. At best he'll break the 30 goal mark. Also, with Bruno Sancho and Pogba feeding him it cant go much wrong.

And yeah, so pumped to see him playing regularly at Old Trafford again. It was 18 years ago on this day that he got his first Man Utd start against Wolves.

Ronaldo won't be playing on the left wing in the PL at 36 mate.

This is the best news that could have come out of this window.

Ole has made us prime time again. We will be the biggest game of the week every week!

Ronaldo coming back is insane. To all the people who worked to pull this off, hats off. You just saved me my idol. If he had gone to Citeh, I could not have handled that.

The lad is 18. He'll be given game time slowly like Greenwood was. You don't throw a young player straight into the PL. These things are done slowly and it's a bizarre criticism because it's one thing United do very well.

Are you forgetting we had one of, if not the youngest squad in the league the past couple of seasons?
