You've got to be the most stagnant player out there when your minutes are about to be eaten by guy who came, wrote history over 6 years, left for a world record, became an icon at Real Madrid over 9 years and became Mr Champions League, made a stop at Juve where he outscored everyone for 3 years and then returns.

A little respect for a player we've been backing for years please.

"Pretty please leave and don't make an effort on the pitch at another club" would be far nicer
Martial has been moody and inconsistent ever since his second season. Don’t really care for him and never did.

Amazes me that people demand we sell a player with no thought to who has the money to buy him, who has the money to offer him satisfactory wages and a team good enough that Martial will actually want to join.

I'm sure we'd snap anyone's hand off at a £40m offer tomorrow, but I'm not sure where he's meant to go. We're relying on getting lucky to get him out for a fee in the next 3 days.

Martial will be part of the squad as long as his attitude and professionalism is right. And it seems like it always has been for him. Training with good players, which Martial is, helps push everyone.

I doubt anyone will want to leave, footballers stroke themselves at night thinking about playing with Ronaldo and Messi.

He'll complete the striker domino effect and end up on loan at Inter by the close of the window. Option to buy £50m or something

When you're on £250k a week and you're benched for better players I don't think you have a whole lot of say in the matter if the people that pay you want you gone asap.

How does a loan help us in the slightest? We need to sell.
Because no one's got the money, and he isn't good enough to play for us in the PL at the top 4 of the league or deep into the CL. So he'll go on loan to Inter, hopefully tear it up and someone will stump up £35m for him next summer once they see that he can do it at a slightly lower level than us

No clubs outside of EPL has money for transfer, and no clubs within EPL can afford his salary.

I personally would leave in his position. Despite the fair criticism of him he has had very good spells (during the years) for us but with the signing of Ronaldo, other competition in Cavani and Rashford and the constant improvement of Greenwood I think it is safe to say that Martial isn't going to have much starting time this season. If he truly wants to play he will surley take a pay cut as well.

If Richarlison goes to PSG (as rumoured if Mbappe leaves), andnEverton get the £60-70mil asking price, hopefully they will come for Martial and hopefully he will leave.

I’m not forcing him to leave but he should for his own sake. It hasn’t been worked out at United, should go lower team with less expectation or go big club in Serie A or going PSG to play in farmer league. Probably his 19/20 season was the only good one for United standard but he missed lot of chances in that semi final vs Sevilla. Greenwood already shows more at same age if I’m being honest.

The last two players we've signed to replace him have had a combined age of 69 and if that's not a good indication I don't know what is.

Thats too bad
Their combined fee would get us a Bissouma or Tchouameni.
It won't happen, but Martial on loan for a year to Brighton (with us paying his salary) and a hefty whack of cash for Bissouma might well improve both teams if one of their CM signings settle and they use half the money to buy a ready made Prem type CM.

Because kean is a better Striker.
He is not.

Kean will never hit the levels Martial hit as a striker in 2019/20 after the restart.

Bit annoying that Arsenal have already spent so much money since he would be a good signing for them and they can afford his wages.

Great post. He can rot in the bench for all I care as long as he gives his shirt number to Cavani. I don't give a damn what he's going to do next the same way he doesn't really give a damn about us.

So he's now competing with Rashford & Pogba for left side of attack or Cavani & Ronaldo for striker spot. I suppose he'll enjoy earning a lot of cash and not actually doing much for it for the next year then...

 he did look very lazy though. I almost screamed at the TV. Bruno pressed, Grenwood pressed, Pogba pressed and Martial was just jogging around like Berba but without Berba's first touch, positioning and finishing.

Dude is getting paid 250k/week to sit back and enjoy watching from one of the best seats in the house. He's lucky.

You're a lovely person.

Anyway, he can't give his number to Cavani. That's already gone.

Ole has stated before countless times that when United were at their very best it was when we had options up front. Martial is an option. He has a chance here to learn from the best and participate in a title challenge. If we sold him we would still need to replace him. Ronaldo, Cavani, Greenwood, and Rashford aren't going to be enough for a title challenge and deep run into the CL. He needs to be kept because as bad as some supporters think he is to replace him will cost the best part of 50 mil. Keep him but it's last chance saloon.

If Cavani stays injury free I cannot see him getting any meaningful game time and once Rashford is back and with Greenwood improving all the time I think the writing is on the wall for Anthony. Ronnie is blessed in that he has never been plagued with injuries (Messi the same) so he will play in all the big ones.
It is a shame really as I have always had high hopes for him but at a top club he has to be consistent and apart from one season he just hasn’t been.
