Absolutely fecking huge win.

Terrible, terrible performance. We looked a disorganised mess.

Vintage De Gea today, was like watching the 2013-2018 version of him.

Good win but a poor performance, hopefully Pogba and Fred never play in a 2 again.

Absolute garbage. The three points shouldn’t paper over those cracks.

At least it was a throwback to the days when De Gea earned us points.

A fair and square win nonetheless. Nothing wrong with Pogba’s challenge and no need to stop play. It wouldn’t be a talking point if Wolves hadn’t unnecessarily stopped in the first half.

Let's not kid ourselves, we were lucky out there.

However, winning games despite not playing well is one of the true marks of a champion. So my hopes are up.

Defence wins titles. As long as we can keep them out we should have enough in most games to score. That's what happened to day. Doubt it'll be the first time we play crap and win with a moment of quality this season. Very pleasing to see us look so secure at set pieces.

Ffs that was a bad performance but Mason's finishing is incredible.

Can we please just pull a Chelsea, swap the manager and win the CL this year?

Lucky to have not lost this match. Shocked that we actually pulled it off.

I'm not convinced Sancho is all that special to be honest.

Brilliant result!

We were proper snidey bastards once we took the lead, I loved it.

If we keep this up, we'll be on course for 112 points

Money Mason. He’s absurdly good.

daylight robbery that result but the defence was brilliant. Varane and Maguire together were superb and our fullbacks were immense. The DDG save was match winning.

Midfield was a massive problem and something has to change there.

We got the win which is great, but we cannot hide the shite that was displayed on the pitch. Better finishing from Wolves and we lost this game easily.

Important win, dreadful performance. Ole needs to do better with the squad he has now.

Perfect result? Getting outplayed in midfield and still winning. Hopefully, this prompts the board to get their checkbook out.

Oh, the forum's going to be so confused today. How to celebrate an important away win while still being overtly negative hmmm

Take it and run, we always struggle against Wolves so it’s good to get all the points. We’ll get better once we get Ronaldo in and Sancho gets up to speed. Varane and De Gea were fantastic, and Greenwood scoring three in three is encouraging.

Is Matic worse than Fred?

Fred's been abysmal 2 games in a row now and should lose his spot. It seems he can only play well next to McTominay.

Relieved in the end, we rode our luck and got the goal.

Greenwood is pure gold.

We were shite but three points is all that matters this early in the season.

The moment between DDG and Neves at the end looked like "See you after the international games. You get the locker next to me."

And Greenwood is incredible. Feckin incredible.

If Traore had any end product at all he would be one of the best players on the planet...

Tough win earned against a team that was really going for it, fantastic debut for Varane! Now annoyingly a 2 week wait until Ronaldo

Even when we win, i often come away frustrated. And it shouldnt be like that.

I honestly dont understand how that much talent can play so badly. It has to be the coaching, i mean it has to be, what else could it be?.

I'm sure we will get better as the season goes on but feck me, we have problems, BIG problems.

Actually thought second half we went ok to be fair. First half couldn’t handle Adama but improved after the break.
Greenwood’s quality.
Varane slotted in like the world class centre half that he is.
Martial actually looked ok on the left.

Sancho needs to improve but I’d expect him to 10 times over.

3 points, 7/9, Newcastle at home next, let’s kick on after the break
