The one thing that gets me is if he was determined to hit the ground running why isn't he with us training already? Lazy to go on holiday

In your opinion..... does he 100% start against Newcastle?
No. He will only have 3 days of training with us. I see him coming off the bench to resemble his first debut because I think Ole falls into the nostalgia trap a bit too often

He'd have trained/played with Portugal before then.

He'll be fit.

Ronaldo has a history of vacationing instead of taking football seriously. This could very well end up being one of our worst deals ever, right up there with Sanchez

It's Ronaldo. He starts straight away in my opinion.

If he’s fit and he plays 200+ minutes across Portugal’s 3 matches then I expect him to start for United although I won’t be surprised if Ole chooses to bring him on just after half time to get the crowd reaction.

Has to get the 7 shirt. Imagine him scoring and making his trademark Sii" celebration with 19 at the back or so. It doesnt work :nervous:

He starts, it’s not some young lad that needs to be bedded in, it’s Ronaldo.

Laughable everyone saying that players can't change numbers etc etc.

The Premier League is a global entity that sells a product: football. Ronaldo is the biggest asset. They will do everything to make sure they get as much coverage as possible. He will be CR7.

brilliant but honestly is that the most enjoyable thing to do on a sunday night is walk thru Piccadilly as a group of people signing about Ronaldo?
They were likely coming from the game in Wolverhampton. That’s a train station breh

He also only signed 3 days prior to his debut way back then.

18 years old.....*shakes head*

How many debuts like that do we see from a youngster these days?

I remember watching that match live on tele but I wasn't in awe then as I am today. Perhaps I was too used to good quality football then

Another visa problem delay? And both Lukaku and Romero's visa went quick in process but not for our players. Those scousers shouldn't be allowed to handle the immigration department!!

They will be coming back from the game. Piccadilly is the biggest train station in central Manchester.
