I simply cannot fathom what he was thinking with that pass. Regardless of the negative tactics, we’d got away with a point until this.

No excuse for playing a pass that casual in the 95th minute when you're down to 10 men.

Also bizarre on two counts, A that he's still at the club and B that he was subbed on.

I briefly considered maybe I was wrong and others were right, that he could be a useful squad player. I was a fecking idiot. He can't.

Feel bad for him. It was an awful mistake, but I can see him going back to dark place and you just don't like to see that.

He really thinks he's much better than he actually is, the delusional clown.

Shame about the mistake. I hope his confidence isn't shattered as he can be a good squad player for us.

No idea why is he getting minutes when he wasn't even in the plan. It's not like he has been brilliant before this. Squarely on Ole. Greenwood is in terrific form and he is not even subbed in.

He's shown for a good while that he's not cut out for this club but he's still here.

And I was so hopeful that West Ham were going to take him

29 year old manchild who has to be babied through the season according to his current mood (oh we have to hype him up to get Jesse confident again, we have to get Jesse smiling again, we have to get Jesse enoying his football again, we have to get Jesse etc)

He's played maybe a handful of decent games for us in the last 2 years - has never been remotely close to world class, even at his very best. It said it all when he opted to stay here on a fat wage instead of going to a team who would play him regularly.

I have no idea why we've been giving him minutes. Hopefully that will quickly change. I'd rather see Elanga or Amad 10 times out of 10.

Never rated him and never will. The guy should have been sold but Ole has some kind of lovefest for him. Anyways can't solely fault the player when your manager is a coward.

It was a stupid pass even if that man wasn't there, as it was right to the centre of the edge of our box with the keeper miles off.

All he had to do was welly it miles down the pitch, there was 20secs left!

He should have left then. He said he went into a dark place because he wasn't getting game time yet he's opted to sit on the bench for us for the overwhelming majority of time.

It makes no sense.

Hope it doesn’t knock his confidence. Just get over it and move on.

The guy just lacks a brain. Once he develops some of it, he could be a decent player.

What a massive idiot this guy is. Wtf was that. No excuse. He needs to go!

Lack of technique or footballing brain or whatever you want to call it. We’ve got a few of those, including the manager for keeping him here.

Not his fault we were in that position. This is all on the coward on the touch line. I love Ole, but that’s al sentimental for Ole the player.

Congratulations for surpassing Lukaku as the most hateable United player since 2013.

Shit pass, but he shouldn't even be at the club never mind getting games.

It's on Ole for bringing him on.

I hope we never see him play for United. I said in the summer he needs to be sold once and for all

Should never have dropped deep for Martial, who was anonymous himself in the short spell. Jesse isn't suited to a deeper role, he's he's a liability there as its proven. Play him behind the striker only.

Let's not go overboard and claim this shows how useless he is. It was brain-dead, absolutely moronic, but it's not like this is something he's been doing again and again throughout his career. It was an uncharacteristic mistake, a freak occurrence that any player could have made. It doesn't prove anything one way or the other.

Zero composure. Laughable that he's still here, and coming on ahead of Greenwood to be our main outlet.

Indeed not Lingard's fault we were down to 10 men and drawing.

100% his fault we lost though.
