still so salty about our loss didn't even bother to watch any games today. what pisses me off is that we were riding such a positive wave.

Yeah. Now if we got a proper coach who could get this team to play at high intensity...
About what you were saying about Klopp. I think he was already offered the job and he didn't want it. It seems, perhaps I am wrong, that he does not have much affection or interest in Madrid,
for what it represents, or for whatever reason, I do not remind him of too kind words.
It is also true that I like Ancelotti so much that I want him to boost his career again.

I don't know how good/shit he is but he will be sacked if he continues like this. Couldn't win the French league. And now results like this.... Will absolutely lead him to be sacked.
Conte come on down

I mean i just threw Klopp's name as a reference more than anything

Pretty sure we could have got Ten Hag, for example

Funny quote from Pep but people especially younger Generation are losing interest in football. I saw also a lot of empty Seats at Arsenal and Chelsea.

They can watch the goals in Smartphones in 3 Minutes and the big matches are not every weekend. Covid just accelerated things

This is pretty much in line with how both performed against us last season. Haramball galore but Porto do carry a bigger threat with their press, fouling and physicality.
Atletico Madrid are absolutely brutal. There really aren't many managers I would not prefer over Simeone at United. He's one of those cases where, for me, the likely successes simply aren't worth what you have to sit and watch week in week out.

Only saw the highlights of the City game. The funny lot can't even fill their seats.

We're so bad that even the manager who should be in charge can't win Champions League games.

Joke of a club top to bottom.

I still can remember that Mahrez unveiling in public and like a few fans turned up and others were looking as if they were walking down the street and saw some guy showing some tricks and they just stopped a gawked for a few minutes. That would not have happened at almost any club, however small they are

Yeah. Simeone is excellent at what he does. Which is crushing all joy that ever existed.

They've regressed a lot over the years. There was a time where I would be completely in awe of the way they would suffocate and manhandle technically superior top teams. I used to be so impressed with that dogged intense style they had. They seem older and more jaded now.

It's only so long that tactics like that can work at one club, especially when it's a club that has the players and resources to do something more than just try to grind out every single game.

I never thought of that, always wondered what viewing numbers would be like for people under 17 and if they cared as much as previous generations did.

Can't compare the prices Arsenal and Chelsea charge to what City charge two groups are being priced out the other is just a stale football team no one cares about (As fantastic as they are on the pitch)

Imagine winning 6-3 and the whole stadium being pretty much dead silent for it. Then your manager has to come out after the game inviting fans to come to the next game.

Soulless doesn't even begin to describe it.

Worst case scenario, City can advertise their game on Wowcher again.

I know you're trying to make a point here somewhere.

No I wasn't happy that United lost. Yes, I skipped the CL games today. I expect United to win against West Ham, don't understand what you mean by flopping the other way. Which way am I flopping now?

Not as embarrassing as our loss but semi-embarrassing.
It’s pretty damn close given the attack they have plus keeping all eleven on the pitch
PSG draw is definitely more embarrassing result. I don't know about performance but result for sure. They don't have the excuse of a red card. Not to mention they are better overall team than us. And have arguably better coach.

But easily the most embarrassing thing to come out of these fixtures is the City fans or the lack of.

If you compare the length of Klopp's stay at each of his clubs to the lifespan of basically any Real Madrid coach you can take a pretty good guess why he might not be as interested in the job as a lot of others would be.
