After the CL final debacle with the team he picked, it's not beyond the realm of possibilities that some players might be thinking differently about him. Some managers, no matter how good they are overstay their welcome.

This is the biggest challenge of Guardiola's career so far. The disappointment of each other totally ruined Pochettino's and Spurs players season after their loss against Liverpool in 2019..

Not only this, he has a lot of questions in the squad. Jesus is wondering why he isn't playing when the club has no striker, even when he came on he played LW.

Bernado has no idea when he will get a game

I don't know how he fits Grealish, Foden, KDB, Gundogan, Sterling, Mahrez into the team

Sterling wouldn't want to play second fiddle after the Euros he's had.

Laporte will not want to play second fiddle for another season either.

Good point. PSG and Tottenham completely fell off and had a terrible season after they lost in the Champions League final. Actually won't be surprised to see Pep's City has an underwhelming season.

Most expensive PL team ever put out on a pitch yesterday and the most expensive bench. And they lost to Kaneless Spurs

Lost their last 3 competitive games without scoring.

I’d be slightly concerned if I was a Siddy fan.

Let’s hope Pep perseveres with Ake & Mendy who look like Championship level players.

How mendy cost £52m is a mystery that will never be solved.
Perhaps if ancient aliens devoted a couple of episodes to it they might come close

Norwich at home is probably the game the one game they would have wished for after this run

Have lost their control when fans were allowed back in.

Getting battered by Southampton. No patterns of play. Relying on individual brilliance. Enough is fecking enough. OUT

Struggled v Leicester and now today. Whisper it but we could put a lot of daylight between the 2 of us since they have Chelsea and Liverpool away in their next 2

This could be an off year for City given they are CF less. When the dominant team of the league fades the odd year, it's interesting to see who pounces. It was Liverpool two seasons back (they more than just pounced but dominated that season).

Soto had a lot of good chances which they messed up, obviously. They were going thru City midfield at will.

He might just walk because he didn't get his striker signing,

Seems like the end is slowly coming for him there.
His methods have a limited timespan. He alluded to it himself more or less. He should be moving on, but I guess the money is too good.

Chelsea for me since the start. However to early to write City off, but in a span of a week they play Chelsea, PSG and Pool all away. Lose both the PL games it's over.

If the midfielders can't create, his system is f***ed.

He could get away without replacing Aguero last season but going into it with Sterling and Jesus was risky.

Just hoping Liverpool fall away as they now know how to win big titles and seem to have gotten their act together

Maybe a striker is important to scoring goals.

I'm not sure it's just a wild theory off the top of my head.

We could, but the thing with Pep and this City team is that they can go on 12-15 game winning runs and not drop a point at any point in the season.
