Fans can be critical of him because he's rough around the edges but at the end of the day try to imagine life without him. Almost everything that's good about United in terms of service goes through this man. He's unquestionably priceless to us.

Seems in good form so far. A lot of his risky passes are accurate and he got a good understanding with Ronaldo and Pogba.

For some bizarre reason, I worried that he might be a bit marginalized with Ronaldo's return, that his influence might wane. Couldn't be further from the truth!

Always busy, Always looking to get on the ball, Always looking to play in someone on goal, Always looking for the opportunity to score. Classy player what he brings to this team is priceless.

If he plays well, we play well as a team. He is the connector between the midfield and attack. When his passing is sloppy , we look completely disjointed.

Oh I meant in the sense that he might become a bit more peripheral on the field (was probably being influenced by watching his displays with Portugal in the summer.)

I think he's still a little underrated by many. I listened to a phone in the other night about who is the best player in the PL at the moment. I must admit my first thought was De Bruyne and I'd probably just about stand by that, but then the more I think about it there really isn't anything separating him and Bruno. My surprise was mainly that Bruno rarely warranted a mention. It was all De Bruyne, Salah, Kane & Lukaku. There's no way that he isn't in that company.

No mention of Ronaldo or 100 million pound man Grealish?

No, Grealish wasn't mentioned often either. Ronaldo was of course but with the caveat of only just coming back to the league. Majority of the talk was the four I mentioned.

I love Bruno, but why was he trying to shoot from 30 yards out 3/4 times?

He killed three attacks in a row

A random left footed shot whilst off balance, a pass straight to the West Ham player and then a cross behind elenga?

I think we know what were gonna get with him. When he gets the ball he looks to create something every time even when it makes no sense
He won't cut that out now

I do think he probably pulls of something if we didn't have martial up top

Was that the worst 15 mins by a United player in recent memory?

Obviously we love him, he's earned some leeway but that was catastrophically bad.

The worst one was shooting and missing completely when Martial was open right in front of him

One really good pass and a great tackle that stopped West Ham getting through on our goal, but the wild shooting was irritating.

Incredibly frustrating player. Dont ever see him being part of an elite attacking side.

The full sprint and tackle on Noble was fantastic. Then he got back up the other end ready for the pull back. If others made his effort then we'd be doing well.

Can't blame him after all he has done for Utd. That being said I thought he was rubbish last night. I was suprised he averaged a 5.something score on player performance, I gave him a 3. Thought he was the worst player on the pitch along with Martial.

I think this is all a bit harsh. It was a really bad sub appearance. Simply too eager to make the difference, at the expense of picking the wrong option. But that is going to happen occasionally in that situation, if he'd have come on and played everything safe then that's not what the manager or team want either. He got the balance a bit wrong but he didn't exactly dig the hole himself.

His tendency to blast balls away from long range when things aren't going well for us is incredibly frustrating.
