Thought he was shocking today. Consistently overcomplicated things. Gets engaged by multiple players and tries to dribble his way out instead of just keeping it simple and passing it back. One of the main reasons we couldn't hold the ball and had zero control.

Well, I mean this is the Pogba. He would have a few of those games after good ones. People were even mocking those who said that earlier in the season.

His playing position does not matter. It is just his mood. Saying all of it, I would have started him with Fred and Sancho on the left.

Agreed. Hope he leaves at the end of the year. Our midfield is crap but we're not helping ourselves when Pogba is shoved into a team. Always loses the ball in dangerous areas, never tracks back.

We get this a lot though and what you expect when he's on the wing
Should have moved centrally much earlier (tbh thought he should have started the match there)

Awful today. Shoe horning him into the team as winger is the biggest problem right now.

Since we don't control a game with him in centre mid we should just drop him

We cannot control the game with him there any less than with any of the McFred duo tbh. Yes there are risks involved but even if it means benching Pogba, we cannot continue with McFred
Either play Pogba there and accept the risks or try DVB.

Let him go, it’s not working for him on the left and he can’t play against decent opposition in a midfield two. Not worth the £400k or so wages his agent will be demanding. What’s next, play 3-5-2 to accommodate him?

Going to have to go back into the midfield, hopefully with Rashford back to start on the left.

He's not good enough to be a midfielder. He loses the ball and doesn't track back enough at left mid, how'd he manage against a decent team? His ideal position would be where Bruno is now, but Bruno, despite the penalty miss is vastly superior.

Like last year, has a couple of decent left wing performances and then teams figure him out and we lack pace, width and a proper left winger. Was not good at all

Give him space and time and he can tear you apart with his passing. Press him and he will overcomplicate things and pick the wrong option 9/10 times.

This is Pogba.

The eternal Pogba problem, in that his supposedly best role doesn't really exist in our set up. We need the penetration that Rashford brings and we need more passing quality from midfield. Just disappointing that Pogba has not evolved his game into adapting to that role in the way that so many other attacking midfielders have, would have solved so many issues for Utd.

Was one of the better players today.

Knives are out as expected though from the usual posters.

Yeah. Even though he showed some glimpses of class he really pissed me off today.

Also, for such a big strong man he really is a massive fanny when asked to do some gritty defending. Just get in there FFS instead of ball watch

He was the biggest problem in the team today for me. He just doesn’t move the ball quickly enough and the amount of times he was dispossessed was infuriating.

One of the few players who tried today, a bit isolated out on the wing but really tried to drive us on.

He really wasn’t. I don’t know if you went to the game, but from the ground the problems were a lack of movement from McFred when the defenders had the ball and constantly trying to hit on the counter as fast as we could. We were too direct and that midfield pair were terrible. Tactics and McFred. But yeah I expect Pogba will be the scapegoat here.

Yes I agree, prefer him on the left due to this and not being a cause of big problems inour own third.

The main thing for me is he is simply inconsistant within games even let alone a period of time.

Thats why we should have got him out of the club with all the other problems come with him and th eexpected wage. Never has and never will be world class like fans make out as he cant do it consistantly....of course there are several other players should be out before him though, but I found it ridiculous so many wanting to give him a new contract or let him leae on a free whic is likely now

For all the hype about his start to the season he's had at least as many poor games as good ones. Bad against Wolves, Young Boys and today, got subbed off against West Ham last week for being poor despite some on here trying to convince us he played well.

Bruno had 10 key passes, Pogba had one. Pogba also had 71% passing accuracy, only Bruno and Dalot had worse in the entire team. Pogba's defensive stats are worst in the team today too, and had the most unsuccesful touches in team by far - 4, second highest is one. So how on earth can you defend him today? He was wank in the last game too.

I guess there are always some people that will defend him no matter what.

Your reading of games is so so bad. Pogba had three very good games to start the season but has gone back to his usual self. He was awful today.

This is the problem with him. Consistency. Plays well two games then disappears for another two. We just cannot rely on him, although he should have started in MF. What on earths £uck is ole doing playing him on the LW i dont know. Sancho should have started on the LW and Pogba in MF.

Anyhow i think we should just let him go. Ole really should have sold him when he first arrived, when he cleared out Sanchez and Fellaini and others.

I recall a poster saying either Ole gets rid of Pogba or Pogba will get rid of Ole, which is looking like the case.

This is what I saw today. Pretty pointless performances in the last few games after an excellent start. It’s not the end of the world but he was one of our worst players today. I think Greenwood and Pogba have both been poor since Ronaldo has come in.

I'm not sure he was good today either. Today was wierd. There were times I saw him playing on the right, and that was confusing.

Pogba was poor today but he wasn’t the problem. Our hideous transition between the back line and the front line was one of the two problems. The other was the absence of cohesion between Greenwood and Ronaldo. We’ll, there’s the missed pk as well but that’s a different issue, a genuine one off.

Back to jogging today when closing players down. Needs dropping now. Thought Vdb was decent midweek, be nice to see him start the next game.

It’s really not but you see a different game from the ground for sure. My opinion on Bruno also and Greenwood, who has been criticised on here but from the ground you see who is hiding and who is trying to drive us on.

I’ll use my eyes to watch games, I don’t buy a season ticket to judge on statistics.

Not sure it was shown on TV but there was a moment in the first half where he made a cracking spin around the defender for a run and Maguire didn’t play him in, was such a shame as he had so much grass to run into.
