He’s done something really positive in quite a few of his appearances this season. Fair play.

Respect to Lingard again, he's had this knack of making something happen in the box whoever he plays for in the last year. Great work to get it back to Ronaldo and also to make sure he doesn't get in the way of the shot.

As things stand Jesse can feel genuinely hard done by for his lack of minutes. Doing all the right things at the right times at the moment.

I like how he fights for more minutes by impressing the manager when he does get time on the pitch. This is how it works. Its not make a wish foundation. Fred starting off that goal at the end was ace after all the hate he has had recently too.

He's a player that matches the level of the players around him: whether they're good or bad.

You can never doubt the quality of his touch, technique, intelligence and work ethic. The only things he lacks are creative passing and hold up play. Unfortunately for him, those last two are some of the most important things he needs in his position.

So if he's the #10 in a poorly functioning attack, that makes him look worse than he actually is. But surround him with better teammates and he'll happily find their wavelength thanks to his top class fundamentals. As an sub off the bench or in a tight game, he's a brilliant option. Like Park, but better imo.

A good Sub to bring on

Shame we can't make five subs in the premier League

He is becoming super sub, very good presence of mind to pass the ball to Ronaldo.

Did well to beat the defender to the ball and poke it into Ronaldo's path for the winner, he's best off the bench.

One of the positives this season. He's basically our young Ole.

Typically you'd see that player swivel and shoot. So great composure to lay it off.

He has proven me wrong. Deserves to be first sub on, maybe even deserves to start ahead of Greenwood.
