If the media and some fans had an agenda - it's Ole Out for sure. They really want him to get the sack, and the pressure they are cranking up on him is insane. For this reason alone, I wish we had won the EL last season so they wouldn't be throwing around the statement on him not winning any trophies with world class team statement.

I don't recall another manager who has got this level of scrutiny in his role.

When he was appointed, it was he doesn't have any credentials to manage and just got the job because he is ex-player. (Nothing to do with his brilliant run as interim boss).

Then in his first full season, his team was just not performing and he needed to go or United were risking becoming a mid table team. (We finished 3rd).

The second full season, we had a bad start to the season (with no pre season) and it was all about Ole being out of his depth, and being found out. Bruno was saving him his job. We finished a comfortable 2nd - with a squad which was far below the quality of the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and even Tottenham to some extent. We went all season unbeaten away from home and picked up an insane number of points from losing positions (yet his in game management is poor and he can't affect a game!)

This is his third full season, and he has finally built a squad that could win us a title. The narrative is that we need to fire him to get the best out of this squad - after literally 5 games of Ronaldo coming in. He is only relying on 'individual brilliance'.

I have been super frustrated at times with our openness this season and some of the weak performances that we've put in. I don't think everything is (or should be) rosy for Ole. Fans and media should be critical of some of our displays - which he has also come out and said were poor and need to improve.

However, I'm shocked that there is so much pressure to give him the sack (which would have cranked up if we did not get that last gasp winner in midweek) despite what he done so far.

It makes me think people just want him sacked because:

1. Some pundits (Tim Sherwood in particular) are just bitter that they were not half as good when they got a chance at management. In Sherwood's case, if Ole wins the PL I don't know if he will have a personal crisis because it will be some sort of failure for him!

2. Ole comes across as too nice, and people don't want to believe that it can be the right way to manage a big club. (Although he is making some hard decisions all the time. Especially his treatment of VDB despite the outside pressure to play him).

3. Fans have forgotten some of the apathy that had seeped into the fan base under LVG and Jose. The football was dire and there was very little excitement watching United play. (We are anything but boring now, on both ends of the pitch). Perhaps, this is one of the reasons why match going fans seem to be largely "Ole in" (although I hate that term because it doesnt allow for any nuance).

If anyone here can identify another manager who has received this level of "calling for his head" - despite delivering better results than was expected from his team at the time, I'll love to get educated!

It's madness.

I don't get why it's been constant toxic negative behaviour towards him. The pressure is immense. Comparing to the state we have been in he's pretty much ticked the boxes since he been in, except winning a cup.

Now we could go top tomorrow, best start to league in a while, and currently having the best away record in English football history, but you wouldn't be mistaken to think we were mid table at the moment.

We haven't been great in half our games this season, but I'm baffled to the sort of venom and comments that are aimed his direction.

Sick of hearing he's out of his depth. If he was out of his depth, he be moyes when he got sacked, only Ole literally came into a worse squad and team in a far worse nick that Moyes team, and managed to keep us high up the table, also been more consistent in the league than our previous cup winning managers LVG and Jose. So it's totally daft to think he out of depth and hasn't a clue what he is doing. Insulting actually to be honest.

It is encouraging to see that Solskjaer is instilling the winning mentality, which is more important than the patterns of play. At this level, all footballers are skilled and talented. Per the cliche, as long as he is at the wheel, the future is bright and exciting.

Well, we gave it a good go. He made us better in a lot of ways. But Ole is has simply ran out of ideas. Time to get Zidane I guess.

He'll get sacked... In April, when we're out of the FA Cup, Europa League, and struggling for top 4

He needs to go. He's done decently to build us up to this point but he is simply not good enough to get us where we want to be.

Time to go Ole. Time to go. Team sucks, everything sucks. Those performances can be done with bunch of amateurs with no coach.

Love his squad building, lost completely faith in his match management. Will obviously not get sacked, but should be under more pressure than he is.

How the f*ck Fred starts over Pogba if Fred can't even tackle or get into physical challenges...

We fick a switch between looking decent to looking downright horrendous. With the team he has at his disposal it's depressing to watch this.

Get rid. Now’s the chance with the international break. He’s had enough time.

Fred has been giving away chances like Santa on drugs since the second game of season, even last season he gave the ball away a lot, just not as horrendous as this season. I don't understand at his persistence in choosing Fred. On top of that, why didn't we try to loan Saul. Everyone and their mothers know anyone can be an improvement over Scott and Fred. We're building from the back, to the midfielder and he fecks it up. That's the second part I don't understand, the insistence at playing from the back when our own midfielders are our biggest threats, Unless if someone is blind it's very noticeable. The squad also lacks cohesion and direction. Players looked like they are running out of ideas and hoping for magic moments from their teammates. Not attacking or controlling the match systematically. Playing like they barely know each other. Sure, the players are responsible at executing and exploiting moments in the game aka the small picture but the big picture falls to the manager and coaching staff.

We're in for an absolute rollocking in the next couple of months if we don't improve. Very tough run of fixtures coming up, and I don't trust Ole to rally.

I think that's me done. Everton's goal was symptomatic of the whole performance, coasted through the game and didn't even attempt to make things happen when we were on top in the game. We should have put that Everton team to the sword.

Great subs against Villareal, and pretty terrible today.

There is justifiable criticism of Ole and the coaching staff at the moment. Results and performances aren’t very good and we are conceding a huge number of chances per game.

The midfield is absolutely terrible, granted, but it isn’t good enough all round.

Shame on you, guys. Coming to this thread only when we lose or draw. Come when we win. Yes, it is once per month but it is something

It is strange, especially given the way Arteta was christened the new Wenger after winning a North London derby.

With that said, I am unsure whether OGS is the right man to win the biggest trophies, but I also don't see a replacement for him at the moment that allows us to take that next step.
