As someone else said above, he won't be the only Newcastle manager to be sacked this season.

The lady fronting this organisation looks like a disaster waiting to happen.

Ole would get a Prem job, Bruce was never getting out of the Championship without his mate doing him a favour

That's bollocks.

He took Birmingham to the premier league and kept them there for 4 years, got relegated and brought them back up again. He also brought Hull up and kept them up for 2 seasons.

He did the same job he's done at Newcastle for both Wigan and Sunderland

Bruce is a better manager. Was great at Birmingham and has done a couple of decent jobs since. Ole doesn't have the same pedigree
Sorry that's bollocks. Sure Ole needs to go but lets not go over the top.

If he’s been paid 8m to leave, who’s having the last laugh there? Bruce living it up in retirement or some fat geordie eating pot noodle in his mums basement?

The squad is Championship quality after years of neglect from Ashley he did well just keeping them up. They have probably 2 decent players and a squad for of championship level drivel.

He’s not the right man to take them forward given their newly found blood money but the disrespect being shown is fecking ridiculous.
Not advocating abuse but they’ve not won a game this season. Abuse isn’t deserved, him leaving is. He spent 40m on Joelinton. He had a bit of money and spent it well on people like Wilson and ASM but could have used it better in other scenarios.

Who's the bolded-part lady? Name? Pics?

Regarding the "multiple-sacks recorded" thing, it's not impossible, but they'd look quite stupid/silly doing so. I wonder if concerns about being compared to PSG and City would affect any such decision-making.

Amanda Staveley. She's the front woman for this Saudi takeover.

Aye. 7 wins in the last 38 as well. 2 of them against already relegated sides. He wasn't up to it and had no idea on how to correct it. All the blaming on injuries or fans just doesn't add up to that kind of underperformance. His sacking would have been a long time coming at any club.

He got his 1000 and (presumably) a fat payday and we turn the page.

Youre going back years, he was mid table in the Championship when he walked out to join up with his mate, Richard Keys and Alan Brazil championing him at every opportunity won't be enough to get him another Prem job. Hes got his cash he should retire.

Finished 12th and 13th didn’t he - last season without ASM and Wilson for large parts? Struggle to see what more was expected with that squad. He certainly wasn’t underachieving to the extent where 50000 people calling him a tactically inept cabbage head is justified…

I do hope Ole gets better treated by our fans regardless of anyone's opinion on him as a manager. That quote from Bruce is terrible.

she's fronting it but Lee Charnley is still MD, he's a decent football bloke (not sure he should be MD of a PL club though) tbh I thought he'd have been gone when the Saudi's took over so probably only a matter of time.

He's been in a downward spiral since January and he is a tactically inept cabbage head, hope this clears things up for you. 28% win rate over his 100 games here is pretty damning, fluking spotty midtable finishes or not.

Glad Brucey will get a good payday out of this. He’s done a good job up there and the abuse he has suffered from Newcastle fans has been downright shocking. Hope he can enjoy his retirement if that is the way he chooses to go.

If abuse for football managers has devloped from Wenger is a pedo to cabbage head I'd say we're making progress

yeah, a club in absolute turmoil and he keeps them in the league finishing above, Nuno, Potter, Hassenhuttl et al and it's a fluke when they win and stay up but it's on him when they lose, bloke couldn't win. The way he was hounded by the local media and fans was a disgrace,.

Will be funny watching them appoint a 'big name' manager who will struggle to keep them up. The defence and keeper they have are shocking.
unless they spend huge in January of course!?

13th place season 45% of our goals were scored by CBs and fullbacks how is that not a fluke? If he'd discovered some magical footballing secret to defenders scoring I'd love to have seen it replicated again.

Yes I'm sure the powerhouse that is newcastle with your amazing squad should be winning half of your games and finishing top half. Just saying you were about par for your squad. It is now time for you guys to push on so it is the right time for him to leave.

you finished the season still in the PL where most Newcastle fans at the start of last season said you would go down, add into that probably being the team hit most by Covid with ASM and Lascelles being out for months and Wilson being injured for half a season but no, typical entitled Newcastle fans, it was a fluke

Ah right. Win percentage is far more important than actual league position - it’s totally the stat that counts. You have one of the worst squads in the league and you finished mid-table. Twice. And all you did was abuse him from day one. Maybe if that great support you lot like to bang on about every 15 fecking seconds actually tried - you know - supporting then the toxic atmosphere that existed around your entire club where players leak to major newspapers every other day wouldn’t exist and you could have even achieved even more.
