What's with all the Havertz love? I think most of Chelsea goals are going to come from defenders and Mount maybe.

If Lukaku and Werner are both injured, then surely he has a prime starting role up front home to Norwich?

Lukaku options with no money in the bank seem to be Vardy - stunning form, but not a particularly easy fixture, Toney, Leicester at home so not a great fixture, but good run ahead, or someone like Hwang/Armstrong that allows the moving of Jiminez up to a 12.5m next week.

Tempted to play my free hit chip actually.

If you guys were to use yours, what team would you put together?

Thinking of doubling up with Chelsea defence, Havertz, few Wolves players like Jimi and Marcal, 3 City players…

I'm -8 from my original team. But having Kane blank for me for two weeks and as captain didn't help.

I'm keeping Ronaldo for this week. Jota out, Raphinha in. Frees up funds.

I've thought about it, I'll just go Kane. The FPL FDR is quite misleading. WHU have conceded every single game at home so far, usually more than once, while Brentford have kept a clean sheet vs Arsenal at home, and only conceded more than one vs Liverpool in that crazy game, while also having played Chelsea who needed a Chilwell wondergoal to score and couldn't create much else, while Brentford battered them for the second half. So for me, my next transfer needs to be one I fancy right away.

On Havertz, he will probably play up front but Norwich's weakest point is their LB, and pretty much every team have battered them down the right. Will be awesome if Azpi starts RB, but likely James starts and gets a huge haul here. I also think Mount is likely a better option than Havertz for this.

Jesus, Firmino and Toney should be good shouts for strikers as well. Jesus very likely to start, Firmino vs our defense and Toney at home vs Leicester.

I've thought between Kane and Vardy for the entire day and for me, Vardy is the better pick.

I will eventually end up with Son in my team.

With Vardy, I can keep one £7.5/8m attacker (Jimenez/Bamford/Antonio etc).

If I get Kane, I would have to downgrade that forward to someone £6.9m or less (will already have Toney).

Son, Vardy & Jimenez sounds better than Son, Kane & Hwang.

I really hope so.
To bring in James and Lukaku and neither play would just be a joke.

Kane might be the smart move. Need to trim 0.8m from elsewhere though.
Foden from 7.9 to 7.1 or lower might work.

Checks Mount's price.... 7.4 garrhh
Kovacavic or Jorgy? Not keen at all.

Yeah exactly, blocking Son is the big worry in that, but if Kane is firing you can live with that.

Bit different for me, I already went for Hwang over Jimenez on WC (1 point in positive so far :wenger:). Going Vardy now will leave me with (assuming Salah, Raph, Mbeumo, Brownhill constant) Son, Vardy, Toney, Hwang. Going Kane now will leave me with Kane, Son, Toney, Davis. Mmmm.

Vardy set looks deeper, it's just that feeling that Vardy's already got his goals while Kane is warming up. Plus Kane has far more assist/bonus potential.

My free hit team would be.

Mccarthy (Foster)
Chilwell Azpilicueta/Rudiger Cancelo (Livramento, manquillo)
Salah Havertz Townsend Son Gallagher/Raphinha)
Toney Vardy cheap

Nah if you gotta take a hit, just go for Vardy.

It's a headache and I have to decide now as Vardy goes up in price!

Thinking about saying feck it and doing Lukaku+Brownhill to Toney+Son. But then who the heck do I bench from this 13?

TAA, Cancelo, Dias, Azpi, Livramento
Salah, Mbeumo, Raphinha, Son, Foden
Antonio, Toney, Hwang.

Vardy or Salah as cap?

Both have 7 goals in 8 games. But Salah as a mid is on 83 points versus Vardy 56.

Or even Townsend or Raph as high risk high rewards?

Yep sod it.
Lukaku going down, Vardy going up tonight.

0.2m turnaround, or do it tonight and avoid it.

Vardy is in great form, and is the top scoring striker, sod it I'm doing it now.
 Yeah.

If you had the funds would you go Vardy or Kane? Pick one name quickly.

Normally Kane, but I don't like his next 3 games at all.
Kane we all know what he can do, but so far this season he's only done it against Newcastle, who everyone helps themselves to hauls with.

Vardy is on one of his classic runs. 5 in the last 4, and 7 in 8 all in.

Really hoping not to have to dip too deep onto the bench.

But with James, Cancelo and Foden there's every chance!

 I kinda have zero confidence in him scoring at Brentford or Leicester doing much in attack, so this is a purely peer pressure pick.
I can't stand Vardy with his dodgy tobacco chewing, high red bull consumption, and no doubt whatever stuff people don't know about. Added into his horrific chav demeanour.

But...he gets on rolls.

I was living in Leicester the year they won the PL, I'm no stranger to him and his gang gulping WKD Blue.

Let's hope the game is a goal party!

Who we all making captain? Gotta be Salah (or Havertz for those who have him) right?
Shakily have it on Salah but Vardy, Townshend and Raphinha are interesting options.
Way too early for cap talk. That's for 4pm tomorrow.

Was hoping I could do Saka to Havertz and Lukaku to Vardy for -4 but I'm 0.2m short. Feel to just make one change with Kane in for Lukaku instead.

The FDR shows 3 red matches coming up for Kane but I'm pretty sure he has a great record vs West Ham and Everton, followed by Leeds, Burnley, Brentford and Norwich.
