Ronaldo himself in a private conversation said it is up to City or United. Now, as far as how useful he is a player, our playstyle is atrocious, so jury is still out. I definitely wouldn't blame him for anything so far, though. He saved our CL group and won us 6 points already. You insinuate that last season we were good before we finished second place, but that is utter nonsense. Last season we were the same shambolic side as we are today in terms of performances, only somehow we continued to be saved by Rashford, Greenwood or whoever. This year it is the same thing. And maybe Ole can get another top 4, but this is simply not good enoug given the amount of money he spent, the squad itself and our lack of clear and defined style.

I do think Ronaldo has created a few problems for us but he could also he useful. You're really stretching it with the whole City weren't really interested conspiracy theory. Pep wanted a Cf and didn't get either of his targets.
