Well would you? Added bonus of him taking over as DoF at some point.

Yeah, I would. No doubt. I'd take him until summer and then move him into an actual DoF role and have him recruit our next manager.

He has never won anything as a manager so I wouldn't want him.

Wreck it Ralf headlines would be funny though.

The guy has barely managed 100 games in the last 10 years, does anyone even know what his man management skills are like?

Also doesn’t seem like it’s worth hiring a manager with that kind of system for the short term, it takes ages for it to be learnt, see Pep and Klopp’s first seasons.

Lastly, there’s quotes of him turning down the Chelsea job because it was a caretaker role and he said he didn’t want a short term job.

With him, outside of his tactical brilliance, you'd know you'd get a man who is too independent and intelligent to be a yes man. To get him now...this season could yet be fun.

I think at this point we would take anyone as Manager that's not currently at the club

I'd take Ralph Wiggum right now.

Really weird appointment, he hasn't managed seriously for over five years now (one caretaker spell aside).

Ralf Rangnick want control, control he would not get under the Glazers. So yes, he would be the perfect man (for limited time) to bring this club into modern football, but he would be the Glazers nightmare.

Would rather have him as DOF so he gut the club top to bottom, but would be happy to have him as manager.
