You said basically "why does everyone need to make Lewis the underdog" and the post you rolled your eyes at said basically "why does everyone need to make Max the underdog".

Embarrassingly hypocritical.
Man you're really not making any sense whatsoever. I get quoted in that post saying "why does everybody need to make Max the underdog" despite me not saying Max is the underdog. I roll my eyes at that and now somehow I'm a hypocrite, embarrassing even? Get a grip man just enjoy the race

Done alright for his team too.
If it wasn't for him, and him outscoring Perez, Red Bull would have been ahead. So for the team, and the constructors, he's done a good job.

You're all Lewis fans, so you want him to bow down to Lewis, but Merc care more about the constructors than they do Lewis and his championship
feck me, you would be going mental if Perez did the shit bittas has. Why block your teammate rather than rival team, its bonkers. I would sack him on the spot.
Perez is sacrificed all the time for Max. He has lost points being called in to take 1 point of Lewis, this weekend he had he rear wing took off to give max. Thats why he has not contributed as much as Bittas. This is not tiddlywinks with your mate. This is the pinnacle of motor racing. I may be a Lewis fan but I think Red Bull are run how a team should. Its like watching the loyalty given to Ole because he played for us, when every other football fan laughs at us. They laugh because it is obvious he is not up for the job. You play to win, Red bull want max to be champion and they have done everything they can for them.
Merc have been so dominant for so long they are spoilt and have forgotton how to be ruthless.
Max would have probably still won as Red Bull has been the best car and the best car should win.

Remember about an hour and a half ago when people saying that the RedBull was a quicker car we’re being ridiculed? That was weird wasn’t it

I'll admit I don't know the logistics of F1 driver contracts etc, if I did, I'd be a millionaire.

But they're releasing him at the end of the season. If they offered him a contract, he'd snap their hands off. So it's their decision, they're releasing him...
No you don't get the logistics elements, but you still don't get it.

Bottas' position at the beginning of the first race, to this race now is exactly the same. He has a contract for the 2021 season that expires at the end of the season, that has been consistent. So going into the first race he knew there was a chance that he would be looking for a new contract or drive at the end of the season.

They're not releasing a driver, they're saying we're not giving you a new contract in 2022 because we're hiring someone else. Mercedes at the start of the 2021 season always had a free seat for the 2022 season. Their choice was Bottas (on a new contract) or someone else. In order to release something, you have to have control over it to be able release it, certainly in a contractual sense.

The point resides is that Bottas contractual position hasn't changed during the season, he has a drive for 2021, and has done particularly poorly. Ironically when the pressure if off him has he started to improve.

Yup
His team has decided not to renew his contract.

It's a big landmark to be fair

There we go.
So I've changed my initial statement for you.
The last sentence is still a big landmark.

Hope that helps

You could be right, I can't remember, but I'd be shocked if Red Bull sacrificed 2...3...4...maybe in 5 points, I'm not sure, to take a single point off Hamilton.
Could be wrong, so correct me if I'm wrong

Could honestly care less if Perez gets 2nd, it’s now down to basically a DNF for Max or he’s champion so no point worrying about it.

Stinker of a race all down the grid.

It makes perfect sense, he said about Max what you said about Lewis. You rolled your eyes at the very same thing you said, which basically means you find your own posts as tiresome as the rest of us.

Barely any good SC’s this year to make it interesting has there? We used to get 2-3 a season to make it interesting, these guys are too well behaved.

It would have made sense if I had claimed Max was the underdog. That would indeed make me a hypocrite. But since I didn't, there was no reason to quote me in that post. Hence the rolling eyes. If others on here are saying Max is the underdog (I don't know, don't read everything), that would be silly and he should have quoted them in it.

Mercedes needed Bottas for the constructors, not only are they going to lose the WC crown the constructers title, like going the same way.
Bottas has thrown away a lot of points this season, maybe he is just in feck it mode

There is not much he could of done today after being spun, as McLaren have good pace and his wheel nut getting jammed probably ended his race and any chance of points

Red Bull seems significantly faster. But Bottas has cost Mercedes in this race. By both blocking his team mate, not his rival and by spinning out.
