Honestly guys, ole could be the guy to end the glazers. If he keeps the job we're honestly going down and they may actually sell up.

His comments on Maguire pre-match in response to the "so-called experts" aged well.

“We've all been very happy with him and we will back him because he is such a top professional. He is going to prove those critics wrong.”
A nice high-five for him leaving the pitch too. :houllier:

I feel like mods should lock every player performance thread apart from this one. How can we judge individual players fairly when everything management-wise is so far gone?

He should have decency to walk after that. He’s made 15-20m he never deserved or expected so that should be enough.

It’s gotten to the point where the only things to come out of Ole’s mouth are cliches or lies.
He's an expert politician. He spouts whatever he thinks you want to hear, whether or not he means any of it.

Clearly the worst manager in the post SAF era. Absolute fraud who has been fooling our fanbase for 3 years now.

It's LVG all over again. We lost to Norwich, we lost to Bournemouth, we lost to Stoke. The wheels were well and truly off. The Glazers let it keep going. This is what we are seeing with Ole.

Other Premier League clubs acted as soon as the international break started. Dean Smith, Daniel Farke, gone within hours of the last round of fixtures. Ole being in post to oversee this is all on the Glazers.

He wants out now. He knows what everyone knows but wants to take the money with him because it’s the last pay day he’ll get in the game.

He stands on the touch line/sits in the dugout staring vacantly into the abyss. Presumably it’s the same in the dressing room.

Anyone wanna imagine what Guardiola would do in such a situation? He'd take Maguire's head off. Instead Ole is high fiving him for doing a good job. How would you expect these players to give it their all or perform when they are never under threat and understand that under this manager they can do whatever they feel like because they're not accountable. Of course, only his favoured players. Players like Sancho and Donny can play like world beaters and still never get a game. Ole is a horrible man manager. He's like the opposite of what a good man manager is, and people here praised him for being a good one just because he smiled a lot and said nice words about the players.

He was just never qualified for the job. Cardiff and Molde to Manchester United. Like driving a taxi to an F1 car. Masked by a decent set of players and a huge transfer budget most teams cant match.

Worst manager post Ferguson. Given the most time most money and couldn't win a fecking thing.

People need to stop being sentimental.

Worst manager post Sir Alex for sure, considering what it took us under Ole era: A lot of time and a lot of money for nothing.

I remember two months ago when people called me a troll for saying Ole is shit. Worst coach in the league, and right now, we are the worst team in the league too. Wake me up from this nightmare and just sack him. For his own and for our sake.

Agreed. All these “feel sorry for him” are comical to me. Guy is paid a fortune. Will get paid off for being horrible at his job and in a couple months most United fans will forget how diabolical he’s been as a manager

Owners who are just happy for a top 4 finish and as it stands the gap to the top 4 is getting bigger with each match and with Arsenal, Chelsea to play in the next two games a strong possibility that United aren't going to finish now regardless.

I don't think he's the worst manager post Fergie. That is Moyes. But Ole may be the worst tactician in this league. Even Moyes has better tactics now.

High-fiving Maguire on the way out sums up everything that's wrong with Ole.
This cannot be repeated enough. He high fived a guy who just made an incredible error to get sent off in a critical game.

Its a funny old game
As much as I like Ole I think the time to go was after the Europa League final last season. That was a game he should have won easily and his naive tactics lost us the game. Having said that if Madrid, Barca or any other top team had a run of results like We have lately the manager would be changed. End of.....

Just feck off Ole. Worst manager in the history of United. Watching the games feels like torture now. At least with LVG I was able to get some shut-eye. (And the results were never this shit)

What’s sad is he’s not getting sacked. I expect the club to go through mental gymnastics and claim we haven’t got time to get a new manager in… that’s fair. I mean it’s not like they had a break they could have made a decision in

Just saw Arteta and Klopp fight on the sideline… Ole (terrible sad to say this), you high-fived your captain when he’s just done something stupid and might have actually cost you your job.

He manages the team by befriending everyone around him. You can't win anything in a competitive sport that way. I think he's done, he won't turn this around. But the useless board don't want to help him. He needs to resign for his own sake.

Anybody who claimed that it was OK for him to remain as manager, after 5:0 with Liverpool should feck off. Everything was already crystal clear after that game and games before it. Now we are just delaying the inevitable and absolutely destroying the club even for the future manager.

Couldn't agree more. They should have sorted it in the international break. Actually I would have done it in the summer. We could even be out of the Europe places if this continues, the players confidence will be even more shot to pieces, get an underwhelming replacement and recruitment could be a problem. It is a mess. If the players want to take the blame as well, then they better not moan now if they get the blame.

The players look like they’ve had their intelligence insulted by this whole situation. Players that are still bought are undroppable because there’s so few of them, so it leads to Maguire being given free range to be a detriment to the club on the pitch is the highest level of incompetence I’ve ever witnessed at Manchester United. Bruno is out of form because of how much he cares and how much he hates to lose, but most of the players are deterred because they know how far off the manager is from the required standard. Sounds like his time is finally up though

I had to turn off the post-match interview, my ears started to bleed. First he sounded like a 15 year old having to explain himself to the principal or his parents, then he got offended by the very calm interviewer and started to be arrogant. «We had 5 or six massive chances in ten minutes», the hell we did… stop lying, stand up and take the blame you absolute amateur. We have world-class players looking like scared youth, he is an utter disgrace.
