They’re parading him like he won us the treble.
Proper cringey.Genuinely one of the most stupid things I’ve seen. Baffling decision by the club to do it. I’m hoping he only did it cause it was in his buyout terms.
Just watched . The endPoor Ole, red eyed and on the verge of tears.
farewell Ledge
Yeah I don’t get it and don’t think it’s weird or embarrassing.I don't find it wierd at all.
I don't think the board ever wanted to sack him but performances were so bad they didn't have a choice.
My eyes were moist after seeing that pic where a fan hugged him.Poor Ole, red eyed and on the verge of tears.

But he's also exacerbated the issues. Namely, the squad is more top heavy than ever. It was top heavy before, but we have so much attacking talent (of which most can't play on any given occasion) and so little in terms of central midfield talent (of which there isn't enough to even field a balance midfield with).Squad wise clearly yes
Bite a lime. Our online fanbase is genuinely pathetic, as evidenced by some of the posts in this thread. Undeserving of success.
Is it thought?Squad wise clearly yes
He talks as if he left during that first season when he took over Mourinho.Tweet

Potentially a way better squad, but its a marginal improvement considering it's been 3 years and nearly 400M spent.Do fans generally agree that he has left the club in a better position than when he took over?
It's been coming for weeks. The surprise factor of the sacking is clearly gone by now. Everyone knew he was one bad result away from it.The weirdest thing is I cant picture any other manager being happy enough after being sacked to do a sit down interview. I imagine most would be furious?
You clearly dont remember the squad before. But he's also exacerbated the issues. Namely, the squad is more top heavy than ever. Individually, yes, he's brought in some top talent, but taken as a balance, as a whole, we're just as imbalanced as we was before.
You don't sayThanks for efforts, ultimately wasn't good enough

It's not even comparable... Fellaini, Valenica, Darmian, Young, Sanchez, Smalling, Rojo, Peirera. That's quite the cleaning. Sure, there's players in the squad right now that aren't good enough, but not like the mess he inherited.Do fans generally agree that he has left the club in a better position than when he took over?
I simply stated the squad is better than what he inherited. Which is clearly true. I did not say all his signings were greatIs it thought?
I don't think any one of his signings is a guarantee under a new manager. Bruno most likely will but he might have to adapt his role. Maguire seriously needs a kick up the arse but he'll probably end up sticking around. The rest are touch and go at best.
You'd expect Sancho and DvB to get more minutes now but considering Ole's reluctance to play them does he really deserve credit for that?

So Big Phil Scolari didn't say his goodbyes like this?I can't remember seeing it ever before and I've experienced a shit load of sackings!
