I feel this way about them to despite everything I know about them. I think it goes back to football italia and Channel 4s serie a coverage in the 90s when it was the best league in Europe. I just have a really nostalgic view of Italian football and their clubs. I can't really think of an Italian club I don't like.Juventus is somehow quite respected here and seen as a majestic club. I have no idea why. Quite possibly the dirtiest club around in top football.
Generally speaking people don't care about anything morally. If you do well they like/respect you and if you don't, then they don't.Juventus is somehow quite respected here and seen as a majestic club. I have no idea why. Quite possibly the dirtiest club around in top football.
I think the issue is what value is placed on players involved in the swap. If you are valuing both players at ridiculous levels that results in an accounting / FFP benefit then you could be in trouble. That's not actually fraudulent in itself though, is it? So where does the fraud come into it?
He'll stay.Yet some people think they can afford Pogba.
Pogba's agent has played his cards, he will end up at PSG.

Yeah, I don't think people are quite getting how much trouble Juve will be in with financial regulators/the government/the police if they're found to have cooked the books and presented it to the markets as genuine income.
Opened in gap down, lost 45% in 1 week as a share priceYeah, I don't think people are quite getting how much trouble Juve will be in with financial regulators/the government/the police if they're found to have cooked the books and presented it to the markets as genuine income.
Point deductions and stripping of titles will be the least of their problems as that is the kind of thing that would have the FBI involved if they were a US company.
That's because of the official mandate to raise capital for 400m euros, which dilutes the remaining shares in proportion to the market valuation from the day it is brokered on, which was mid last week. I understand this is a bit too complex for piranhas in Piranhistan, though.Opened in gap down, lost 45% in 1 week as a share price
About this story we still don’t know enough, but it could be a big thing if there’s a confirmation of all the accusations
The main problem for them it’s because they are listed in many stock exchange (italy milan and also germany berlin, stuttgart, frankfurt, dusseldorf)
Is there really any reason to try and sugar coat it and act like the clubs cheer leader? That's because of the official mandate to raise capital for 400m euros, which dilutes the remaining shares in proportion to the market valuation from the day it is brokered on, which was mid last week. Oh shut up. Your club’s grubby as feck and they’re shite on the pitch to boot. That's because of the official mandate to raise capital for 400m euros, which dilutes the remaining shares in proportion to the market valuation from the day it is brokered on, which was mid last week. The club have fecked up and are going to pay for it. You can be a fan but still accept you're in big trouble.
You can ban me from this forum and good riddance. Until then, I will be reporting facts.Oh shut up. Your club’s grubby as feck and they’re shite on the pitch to boot.
Ok, good luck with that, for piranhas ask AgnelliThat's because of the official mandate to raise capital for 400m euros, which dilutes the remaining shares in proportion to the market valuation from the day it is brokered on, which was mid last week. Raising 400m by diluting shareholders doesn’t cause the stock price to fall by 45pct. Just doesn’t. Not even by plain math it doesn’t let alone in finance. That's because of the official mandate to raise capital for 400m euros, which dilutes the remaining shares in proportion to the market valuation from the day it is brokered on, which was mid last week. Exactly, when it happen you don’t see it in the graphic, today opened in gap downRaising 400m by diluting shareholders doesn’t cause the stock price to fall by 45pct. Just doesn’t. Not even by plain math it doesn’t let alone in finance.
of course if the mkt believes that the 400m will be required forwrite offs then maybe. But then it has nothing to do with the dilution
It is paradoxical, really: the document announcing the 400m raising, explicitly states that "the club is under investigation from the regulators for the accounting matters, with a moderate-to-high risk of some further impact in the short term".Raising 400m by diluting shareholders doesn’t cause the stock price to fall by 45pct. Just doesn’t. Not even by plain math it doesn’t let alone in finance.

No, don't you get it? It's all a big anti-juventus conspiracy. Again. The fans should be up in arms.
Imagine being constantly robbed of glory and pride cause the people who run your club are dirty.
something something “Piranhas”No, don't you get it? It's all a big anti-juventus conspiracy. Again.
Absolutely agree.. i hope they are relegated but this time without fast promotion back in the next season and after few years in Serie B are gone into obscurity where they belong..Juventus is somehow quite respected here and seen as a majestic club. I have no idea why. Quite possibly the dirtiest club around in top football.
It's long been accepted that player valuation has long been a junk science (i.e. not scientific at all).I think the issue is what value is placed on players involved in the swap. If you are valuing both players at ridiculous levels that results in an accounting / FFP benefit then you could be in trouble.
Yes, but in this situation there are wiretapping as a support of it, with the prosecutors calling it the “paratici system”It's long been accepted that player valuation has long been a junk science (i.e. not scientific at all).
From what I have read, the issue isn't so much that they did this as a football club, but rather they did this as a publicly listed business. It's long been accepted that player valuation has long been a junk science (i.e. not scientific at all).
I'd be curious to know what baseline is being used to determine overvaluation by Juventus. I agree with another poster who said many more clubs could be pulled up for this.
It only really becomes an issue with swaps, so only a fraction of transfers. It's long been accepted that player valuation has long been a junk science (i.e. not scientific at all).

Makes sense. From what I have read, the issue isn't so much that they did this as a football club, but rather they did this as a publicly listed business.
Agreed on this.It only really becomes an issue with swaps, so only a fraction of transfers.
Id agree though, how can you prove a value of a footballer is appropriate or otherwise.
Falsifying invoices Is rather more cut and dryed.. bad news.
Judging by the one in this thread it’s all “Piranastan” , apparently. The fans should be up in arms.

If only. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer blokeOnly if Buffon stayed, he would have had two relegations due to corruption under his belt.
