Defended well against Zaha, at least one dangerous cross, left foot shot just wide from McTominay's pass late in the first half. Impressive performance.

Ole should have tried to develop him before spending £50mil on AWB. He has alot of potential, Im excited to see how he develops under Rangnick.

Looked a completely different player in these two games. If you'd signed him and these were his first two showings you'd be bloody optimistic about him. You never know, if he can keep it up he's got a chance. Big if but stranger things have happened.

Surprisingly good performance. If he keeps this up, he'll be a useful part of the squad.

Been telling this and I was crucified. Give him games and he will get better. He is very good.

It's sad that it takes an injury to give players like dalot a chance rather than the horrendous form of AWB

Great midweek, even better today. We needed someone who would come in and give AWB some pressure.
Think AWB just isnt good enough attacking if both play at their best levels, Dalot wins over him.

Very good again today. Kept Zaha quiet. Think I said it before, but he's deceptively fast. Eats up the ground when he gets going. Doubt he'll start against Young Boys but I'd have him back in against Norwich.

I think he will be crucial in Ragnick’s 4-2-2-2 system to provide width on the right.
Sancho was playing very narrow in the first half! Much more assured going forward than AWB and equally tenacious today! Hope he keeps it up!

What a difference it makes having a fullback that has vision, passing ability, and can consistently link up play like a midfielder. The fact that we were actually on the front foot and didn’t allow them to come at him with numbers really helped too.

He did well again against a good player in Zaha. Definitely deserves to keep his place in the team, will be interesting to see if Rangnick brings the likes of Shaw and AWB back in straight away when fully fit. I hope not, we need to get back to having to win your spot back.

It's a low standard, but it's really nice to see a right-back who actually looks engaged instead of sleepwalking through games.

Put in some really dangerous crosses and did well on the defensive side.

He's slowly making me think that we might not need to sign a new right back anymore. So far very good game in these last two games. Keep it up. With proper coaching, there is hope.

Probably the one United player who has handled Zaha the best. Genuinely surprised at his level the last two games.

Maybe he's the type of player that's good in this system.

When he's on the outside of our box defending against a winger 1 v 1 there is no doubt he's a liability. But if he's defending near the half way line? Not so much. We didn't allow Zaha a head of steam today. If he does pinch it he can find a good infield pass or cross too.

He got into so many good positions all alone on that right side, it's a shame our midfielders lacked the pass to find him. One of those was the easy pass McTominay had to get him through and well, he ended up passing it to the defender.

He's going to be keeping AWB out of the team.

Played several good passes up the right side for attackers with a bit of length on them. This is something AWB isnt very good at. He can sometimes make a good pass into the middle of midfield, but very rarely will we see a player making a run on the right side and AWB launching a pass 30 yards into his path to attack quickly.

When you have a player who thinks about football in terms of what a modern system would expect, sometimes all it takes is a corresponding system to unlock his performance potential.

Bissaka is going to have a fight on his hands if Dalot keeps playing like this. He still makes plenty of errors but going forward he is a million times better than Bissaka and I don’t even think Bissaka is as bad going forward as the CAF makes out but right now surely Dalot is the number one RB.

shaw at his best should always play. if he is not in form telles can do a job. dalot has more potential going forward than awb - he should get more chances

Was worried pre-match that Zaha was going to cause him lots of problems, but handled him well.Kudos to him.

I really wish he could defend because he’d be a decent enough option for us if he could. Not that his defending today was bad; it wasn’t. But he’s woeful when fronted up by a winger and I’m not sure this really gets fixed.

No way AWB should come back into this team. What a performance.
Neither AWB nor Shaw should be walking into the main lineup. Both Dalot and Telles deserve to be starting for now.

Zaha not performing isn't purely down to him. That was the result of our pressing we did up in the field. Point is, he shouldn't be just judged based on how many times a winger got past him. He should be given games and let him improve. Just be patient - give him one third of the games we gave to AWB and see how he does. He is going to make lot of mistakes but we will have a very good player after some time.

He would make good RWB. Decent on the ball but a bit suspect in defence. Still think we need an upgrade at RB.

Great performance from him today. Kept one of the better wingers in the league quiet and contributed well going forward. I don’t want AWB back in the team. Long live Dalot.
