Any info on squad selected for the game? Not the starting 11. Wondering if Ronaldo is on the list.

Glad he added all those youngsters to the roster....IMO, there is NO reason to play any regular XI player tonight

Let the young guys play and give the fringe players time tonight to play and learn the system

    If tweet fails to show:
Ralf Rangnick stayed behind at Carrington today to drill #mufc youngsters at Carrington to prepare them for their possible debut tonight. Rangnick did the coaching personally.

Even though it's a dead rubber game still really looking forward to watching to see more of the impact of the new coaching system.

    So probably:
    Henderson
    Wan Bissaka Bailly Mengi Shaw
    VdB Matic
    Lingard Mata
    Elanga Greenwood
Amad possibly for one, or just as a sub. I like to see full rotation when it's obvious we need full rotation. So many refuse to do it.

If they, the youngsters, are debuting tonight, they wouldn't be doing on pitch training. Would they??
As a sub sure. But the starting 11 is definitely going to be made up of the 13 players that were bussed separately (full b team).

Might just have a been brief exercise so they understand their role when they come on with 15 mins to go. They won’t get many minutes.

So Heaton will miss out. Last spot feels as if it is between Mata and Amad.

Maybe this will mean we are still able to play the same way no matter who is on the field tonight, basically there wouldn't be a noticeable drop-off.

Amad should be on that pitch before Lingard Mata and Elanga imo

This match is important. Not because we need the points, but we will have to keep winning to create a flow and regain confidence. There is no room for defeat right now.

I am envisioning a pressing attacking game with a squad that has probably worked more with RR than the starters. Youth and desire will push an interesting game/ flow tonight. I for one, think we may see us bag 3-4 goals, but either way, I cant wait to see some of these younger players get a chance on the biggest stage.

Went for Mata over Amad but also put Mata as sub. So either way should get a point. Also had no other option but put Heaton as a sub too

Interesting that there seems to be no leak today.

Would he really start both Amad and Elanga in an important CL game? Seems like an unnecessary risk if you ask me.

If he's so keen to play the youngsters, why not go full strength tonight, secure qualification, then play them in the dead rubber game in a couple of weeks?

Are you okay, RT? We've won the group and this is the last group game. There's no more after tonight.
