He must be asking himself why no one else in attack can play some simple pass and move football. Ten Hag can't come soon enough for him. What were seeing from Ronaldo, Bruno and Rashford is unacceptable.
Wishful thinking with the aforementioned heroballers firmly top 3 in the pecking order, but I hope we get to see a Sancho, Amad, Greenwood +1 (Martial or Cavani if he ever shows up again) front 4 at least once this season.

Looking at his stats this season he's 90th percentile for pass completion, 93rd for key passes, 93rd for SCA, 93rd for carries, 97th for progressive carries, 99th for carries into the final third, etc. Given the shit-show he arrived into, he's still doing a lot of good things. Hopefully there's more to come in terms of final product.

The way he plays and how our players are tuned is so out of sync. He plays one-twos but most cases he doesn't get the return pass. Even yesterday, Telles had possession and Sancho made the run with acres of space, it was easy pass to play but instead of playing him, Telles played cross from deeper position (Rashford's header chance)

Played OK yesterday but not sure I've seen anything yet that suggests he is going to a world beater for us. Probably an above average player in Germany.
Jesus  If you genuinely think he was 'above average' in Bundesliga then you need to stop making statements like that one, as you clearly don't know what you're talking about.

2 goals and 0 assists in 19 appearances. A major flop so far and next season will be make or break for him.
:houllier: comes to mind.

I just edited mine too.

As for this goal/assist ratio, it is great but it was in German. No disrespect to the league. But we also do know very well with how those players we signed from there do here in the past. Can't blame some people who might be a bit cautious with it and not taking them as face value.
Are there no good players in Germany then? The league is certainly weaker but very few players were putting up those kind of stats in his 3 full season at Dortmund.

Next season? He’s got half of season still ffs. Been our best attacker the last month anyway and looks much more on it, the stats will come eventually but it’s far more important that he actually looks the part now and seems to be adjusting better.

21 year old. New league. Coming off abuse for missing a penalty in a Euro final. A manager that signed him collapsing and getting sacked, a team of good players that are hardly doing a much better than he is. This season has been all wrong for him. So much going against him, and the last month he's been finding his feet. Ragnick really rates him, and he'll do well this year. No doubt about it.

Ive noticed this as well, its incredibly frustrating. Bruno, who ive been a fan of, seems to be the worst for this. I dont know if the kid has pissed off some people in the dressing room or whether some players feel threatened but there are so many times when its clear the right pass is a return ball to Sancho and instead it gets recycled that it almost cant be an accident.

I dont think he particularly needs final product with recent performances. We have a lot of finishers, he moves and progresses the ball well and intelligently which is more valuable at the moment, pretty faultless defensively too.

It means feck all for the team that plays in England. It is early of course. But if he plays like this for the whole season, it would be concerning for me. No amount of how many he scored and assisted in another country would make any sense.

As I said, my general impression SO FAR has not been that great despite people kept saying how good he played and how he was the best attacking player in some of our games. I was wondering if that it is?

But I don't want to keep arguing like I would never rate him or I think he is shit. I want him to be successful here for the sake of United.

I'm bit worried about his performances.

So many players get flack but not really Sancho.

Hope he improves.

I rate him from his time in Germany. He's nuts. However he's been shit for us. Like VDB/Fred first season shit.

Popping in here to see people rave about how well he's playing well disgusts me. He isn't even 10% of the player I saw at Dortmund.

It's Maguire syndrome. Big fee makes people get excited about super basic stuff like passing the ball to a teammate instead of the opposition.

And rightly so. A 21 year old, in his first season in the prem, playing in a dysfunctional team for most of his time here.

For me he has shown flashes, so I'm not worried. Let's hope for more improvement to come.

The fact that we are a dysfunctional team doesn't seem to be an excuse for others.

If it was the sole reason, it wouldn't be an excuse for him either. It makes things worse for a player who is trying to settle and understand how we play.

Couple of flashes of skill, nice give and go with Bruno that ended with a decent cross and then that late run, but outside of that, a very poor 45.

Great to see Rashford's charity work influence Sancho.

Came on in the 2nd and fed Newcastle all half with misplaced passes and poor touches.

I’ve tried to see the positives in him all season and stuck up for him a lot. But that was dreadful. He didn’t look interested. Shit, lazy, half arsed passes. Terrible

Cavani should have finished his cutback. Everything else was decidedly average.

Should still start over Rashford though

Pretty terrible appearance from him. So sloppy on the ball tonight. If he wants to be starting week in week out, he has to show better than that.

The only player who can create in this team. Everyone else is shocking on the ball. Should start every game

Incredible two foot move with the ball at the end of the game - when Canani was offside.

He was poor today but a general observation from the last few games — his creative mind and vision is top tier (apart from today!), and as a dribbler he has very quick feet — but I’m slowly starting to worry about the physicality to his game. Just doesn’t seem to be strong nor fast enough

Nothing wrong with Sancho lads. It's the tactics and his peers.

Nothing came off really but I still think even on a shit day he makes us play a lot better. His movement and the intent of how he uses the ball is what we need... Just need the plays to come off (which they do a lot of the time with him).

Yeah needs to play. He makes things happen and has the intent to do so, which the others lack.

Same with Cavani. Those two should be nailed on for the next game.

Doesn't seem to have the qualities needed for the premier league. Atleast not yet.

I'm highly skeptical of him making it here

There has to come a point when we stop and ask ourselves why so many of the players we buy suddenly turn to crap when they play for us. There's a reason we pay big money for them, they play well for the clubs we signed them from.

This has been a running theme for many years now, all the way back to Kagawa.

United seems to be the Space Jam of the sporting world.
