I don’t think Ten Haag would make any sense for us now. It’s clear the board are putting massive faith in Ragnick and allowing him to employ coaches that can help him implement the pressing style.

I can only see Ragnick staying on for an extra year as manager or a manager coming from the Red Bull stable that will seamlessly continue what Ralf has started. Would be totally ridiculous to train the players in a very particular style for 6 months and then go for a coach with different principles!
Jesse Marsch in 6 months?

Well looking at the last two performances hope we go for Ten Hag as need someone good at developing young players rather than finished articles, however fear he will be replacing Pep at City and we may get Pochettino instead.

Ten Hag is the obvious choice. But if by some reason we don't get him, I would gamble on Julien Stephan. It's a matter of time before he signs for a top club.

We should probably add Tuchel to the voting list given that Chelsea are beginning to look less benign. I would take him over most.

Haven't heard anything about him, what's he like? Always wary of new names - remember when Marco Rose was hyped massively too. I mean he's probably still a very good manager but not exactly off to a glowing start with Dortmund.

Ralf would probably like him given their history but I hope we don’t go for another Chelsea castaway and just opt for a more exciting albeit riskier appointment in Ten Hag.

Tuchel is a top coach though. Be a bit daft to turn our noses up at him even for ETH

Done poorly in the CL but they kept pace with Bayern quite well in the Bundesliga up until very recently. Could have leapfrogged them when they played a few weeks ago. Too early to judge his impact really.

A quite modern and interesting coach who knows how to adapt to the talent he has at his disposal.
At Rennes he played a more possession style of football, since the squad was a bit more technical

At RC Strasbourg he inherited a very different squad, its a squad with more Pace and power and less elegance, but he adapted well

This.

Tuchel will not get much patience if he gets sacked and comes here.

Chelsea sack managers all the time. He's generally regarded as world class so why not? No worse than Poch.

I think if we dont get top 4 then the likes of Ten Hag wont be coming and we will still be managed by RR for at least another 12 months. I dont know how I would feel about that. Maybe a bit disappointing at first as we didnt make top 4, but if he molds the team how he wants us to play then it might be a good extra 12 months.

If Tuchel is available and we are looking for a manager then it must be him our first target.

He would have time and pacience at OT. He is a pure elite manager.

Top managers wouldn't put off by no CL. Klopp took over Liverpool when they were in the EL and were struggling to make the top 4.
That said I expect Ten Hag to end up at City,Liverpool or Bayern next summer. I just have a feeling one of those clubs will have a vacancy. Or maybe even Barca.

Ajax haven’t been as good in the league over the past few games played prior to Christmas so could they already know ? Could an under the radar deal have been agreed for Ten Hag at the end of the season and it’s taken the wind out of Ajax’s sails ?

Tuchel will be a great fit if he gets sacked, he is more experienced to me than Ten Hag.

Why isnt RR an option in the poll? Every chance Utd will make him permanent manager at end of season.

Could see Pochettino & Ten Hag telling us to feck off if we end up in Europa League. Can't help thinking our board's view of Conte as Mourinho MK2 was utterly dumb

The squad going forward does probably fit Ten Hag okay assuming it's a 4-3-3:

Sancho-----Greenwood--------Amad
-------------VDB---------Bruno--------------
---------------------DM--------------------------
Shaw----Maguire----Varane---------RB
--------------Deano/De Gea---------------

Seems like it could play Ajax style ball if we bring in a DM who can pass and then maybe he just brings Mazraoui with him.

Still think Potter will be great but he needs Ralf's support above him and in turn Ralf needs support from United.

If Arteta could do it in 2 years, Potter would be as good if not better for us.
