Best player on the pitch. Nonsense he was subbed off.

We need to control games more so he can be closer to goal

the situation seems to be as per DAZN commentators that Cavani was meant to come of, but because Greenwood went down with knock, they switched at last second to Greenwood. You coudd tell by Greenwwod's reaction he wasn't hurt and the fact he went and sat straight on the subs bench as opposed to treatment probably confirms that. I get that they want to be cautious with young players, but that was the wrong call for me. Cavani looks like a man whose mind is in Barca

Im starting to have the feeling that he is being seriously mismanaged. Hes been talked up as the best finisher at the club, his first 2 full seasons he scored double digits, 18 in the first. And yet the club has brought in Ronaldo and play Cavani over him in the strikers role.

Hes pretty much our best all round striker in terms of touch and passing. He should be playing either next to ronaldo up top, or as a rf in a 4 3 3, we need to stop this playing him as a winger or cam. I feel sorry for the lad. If he was at any other club he'd probably be talked about in the same breathe as haaland or mbappe when he was breaking through and would probably also be playing as striker for most teams.

Good game is a stretch, in comparison to the other forwards he was half decent. No idea why he's the one to always make way though.
Yeah he also was a bit sloppy in the second half. Bizarre decision to take him off when he did though.

Should never have been taken off. Was the only one with a bit of spark.

Ralf asked why he subbed him off and he said it was between him or Edi. No mention of a knock or anything....

Bringing him off was fecking stupid. Even a tired Greenwood is better than the shite we left on.

Our most creative forward today, showed some decent link-up with AWB, not sure why he was subbed.

Good game from him. How he opened up the play for Sancho at the beginning was a thing of beauty.

Subbing him was such a dump decision.
He has so much natural talent, I just hope we don't waste it.

We were better when he went out due to changing the system. However, he was the best player or at least the only one trying to do something.

Why was the sub changed from Cavani to him?

That made absolutely no sense.

I thought the reaction to his substitution was a little OTT. Aside from the killer pass in the first half I struggle to think of any other time he created a clear chance or had one himself.

Our front 4 was wank all game but still it was strange to take off Mason before Edi. Edi had much worse game.

It was a strong reaction but the crowd was wound up and the decision was clearly wrong.

Sancho and Cavani were absolutely terrible all game. At least Greenwood interspersed some progressive creative football in amongst his many mistakes.

We play him way too far away from the goal. This guy is the most lethal 18 yard-to-box finisher I’ve seen since Aguero and we’re playing him as a wide right winger to carry the ball for two grandpas upfront. Get him back in that right forward position

Ralf didn't mention anything about Greenwood having a knock in explaining why he took him off.

Just said he had to take somebody off and it was either him or Cavani.

...couldn't take off Sancho? Or maybe just NOT bring Rashford on, as he's in the worst form of his career?

He did bring on Bruno for Mason though.

He’s good but he’s still a bit too laid back for my taste. I feel like too many of our current players are too calm even when we are terrible. Sancho Pogba Shaw AWB Martial Rashford Mason Mata DDG Matic… all fairly passive players. Technically good to excellent but that’s not enough to bridge the gap. Compared to the top teams we are majorly lacking in intensity. Need to find a young fiery forward and midfielder and maybe some other positions too…

He is our best forward this season but even then the level is still a teeny bit too low for what is needed regularly at United.

Shows just how bad the others have been really.

He’s being played out of position, should be partnering someone up front but there’s no getting away from the fact that this lack of intensity is really concerning to see. All top teams are full of these high intensity players like bernardo silva, Sakha, Martinelli, Sterling, Mane, Salah, etc. ours play like they have already made it. You watch Rashford move around the pitch and it’s a comedy.

His first touch and ability to take the ball on the turn just oozes class. He hit one sublime pass from deep as well. Definitely looked like our most talented player today.

Still managed to establish himself as a classic Manchester United post-fergie footballer by repeatedly getting absolutely basic 10-15 yard passes badly wrong. So weird to see talented footballers get the basic so badly wrong. They’re all fecking at it too. What’s going on?!

You're absolutely right, the lack of intensity is a common theme over the last few years. The players just aren't switched on and alert. They pause and dither at key moments when the best teams pounce and swarm. They're just not killers on the pitch at all. So easy to play against.
