Have we been sending medical staff to dubai to monitor him?

Ive never heard of a hamstring taking 12 weeks to even start training again

He's been out for so long I genuinely forgot what's even wrong with him. Hard not to think he's taking the piss a bit.

During his five years here, how many genuinely world class games do you remember from him whilst playing for us? I can’t think of many. His debut against Southampton was pretty impressive. Also the two goals against City in 2017-18. He scored a goal in the Europa final. After that, I’m struggling.
But that's exactly what I'm saying?! 1 or two world class games a year.

First year: Soton
Last year: City
This year: That first or secondgame in the beginning with a shitton of assists and he could walk on water.

Same pattern. 1-2 world class games a year and then mediocre and injured/whining via agents/brother at some point.

We should get him out of the club in January if possible...he´s already gone and is one of the most overrated players I have ever seen...true world class players always stand out no matter where they play like Messi or Ronaldo...Guy´s who go missing when things get tough never will be WC....the sheer amount of excuses made for this player are just unbelievable .... Bryan Robson did not play in strong United teams until the end of it at United...But he always stood out despite of that...Why...Because he had the commitment, drive and hunger to give his best in every game for United...Robbo was world class in his prime and a true leader....A charlatan like Pogba is nowhere near to being a true leader like Robbo and Keano were and for me is a prime example of the modern footballer that should focus more on the football itself rather than all this nonsense outside of the game....Get rid of him now

Sir Alex Ferguson was spot on. Feck off, Paul.
It's getting tedious to correct this time and again especially since I'm not here to defend Pogba, but Fergie did everything in his power to keep him including offering him higher wages than Juve.

500k a week, 0 league titles

More banter than Slippy G
It doesn't work quite as well when you actually count Pogba's league titles though? He has 4.

I hope that the contract offer that we've supposedly had for him is off the table though. At this point even the idea of losing him on a free for the second time doesn't hurt as much as a potential long-term deal on mind-boggling wages. He just isn't worth it, sadly.

We haven’t, he’s been insisting on his people monitoring his injuries and letting us know when he’s available for selection again. Hard to believe someone isn’t taking the piss.

I posted this month ago, that he will miss roughly 90 games by the time he comes back and that's a very poor injury record.
Ooft. That entire 92-93 generation was a bit of a letdown in the end; Pogba, Neymar*, Coutinho, Dybala etc. none of them ever truly hit their best.

* Probably a bit disingenuous to put Neymar in with them as I think he is/was still a level above but the injuries much like Pogba have really taken a huge chunk and he never fully delivered on the promise after leaving Barca

United won 4 league titles with Pogba here ? When did this happen ?

I don't care what he won prior to joining United by the way.

He could play tomorrow, at the end of February or never again. It’s all the same.

A cynic would say he doesn’t want any chance of being sold in the Jan window and wants to ensure a summer move.

Not me. Minor injuries regularly take 2-3 months

The fact that Utd are even contemplating a new contract for Pogba shows they have learnt absolutely nothing and things are not going to change at the club.

Who says we are?

And if we were, what if it was £100k basic, rest on appearances, availability, goals, etc? A sort of pay as you play?

(ps. I want him gone all things considered)

If we are considering offering him a new contract, Ralf can't have been consulted. I absolutely refuse to believe that he would recommend that.

Most likely scenario for me is that we did offer him a new contract before this season, which he obviously didn't go for - and that the situation now is that there is no new offer on the table. Meaning that Pogba will leave after the season.

And, I would add, in the unlikely event that he comes back from Dubai wanting to sign the contract he was offered before - Ralf will nix it (or at the very least advise Murtough/Arnold/whoever to nix it).

I'd find it amusing if the contract we offered like 6 months ago is still just on the table and Pogba takes us up on it after it was never rescinded.

I will accept that the evidence for us talking about a new contract is speculative, although I do think it is happening. However, if you are thinking we are talking about £100k basic etc. then I think you are speculating beyond the realms of fantasy.
We do however agree that we both want him gone. Sooner the better.

Any other situation and this would just be funny, but with Woodward and Richard 'We have teh biggest twitter' Arnold, one wonders.

I hate these articles that try to create fake narratives.

As if ANYONE would believe that Lukaku of all people says. Pretty much all of the squad seem to adore Pogba, just look at Shaw's interview stating how much Paul brings people together and how much love Bruno shows him or his different handshakes with over half the squad.

Can anyone really imagine Martial being that vocal to create tension? Look at his interactions with Rashford both on and off the pitch and the way Bruno and everyone else ran up to Martial when he got his goal earlier this season smacked of teammates that know he'd been struggling and were really happy for him.

I wonder who are the criminals in the Chelsea dressing room that are forcing poor Lukaku to cry for Inter?

A bit? He's been takin a piss moment he walked into Carrington. Came for money and marketing reasons, his PP brand, I wonder how big it was while playing for Juve, and how big it now.

True. Remember how many fans were screaming "give him a neeew contraaact, 500k, 600k whatever. Just so it!!!"
And then he turns to shit as usuall and fanbois full speed ahead, like this one

..... but we can’t blame this failed transfer on Pogba. He has never had good enough team mates or been under a good structure at the club
not his fault at all, it them, all of them, even tea ladies, he gave his best, loves the club, work his socks of, never downed his tools, never flirted with other clubs, only problem is he needs 10 WC players around him to do all the work so he can pass Hollywood pass and be adored.

Why would you give someone £500k a week with that record of Ankle injuries, let alone the rest.

"Phil Jones says Hi"
I cannot believe we are even thinking about extending Pogbas contract....whats the point of employing him? No properly run company would put up with this level of absence.

He could just reject any move this month if that was his motivation. He's under no obligation to agree terms with any other club, and can negotiate with them directly now since he's nearly out of contract. I don't think any club would pay a fee for him now instead of getting him for free in the summer.

More likely he simply doesn't want to play, get injured badly and potentially scupper his summer move. It wouldn't shock me if he'd played his last game for the club. But then it wouldn't shock me if a new contract on ridiculous wages was announced either. The people upstairs are dumb enough to do it.

Heard someone mention that he hasn’t played much more than Anderson did. That can’t be right can it?
If you count the time where Anderson was a real part of the squad and not being loaned/frozen out, he played 171 games in six seasons. Pogba has played 212 games in five and a half, not counting his first spell.

One of the most important steps in the rebuild is getting this guy out of the club asap.

I think if he only wanted £200k a week his injury record, which is getting worse and his age 29 in march, which means he is at his peak now, should make the board think again. A younger player can come back from injuries and improve a player on the periphery of being 30 wont.
