Spot on. James only had an effect on the game due to his pace, couldn't do anything other than that. Look at the quoted post above yours. How do you expect players to perform in such an unbalanced and messy team? The only player that's been effective is Bruno.
Sancho is a fecking winger and he cannot beat the player who is marking him 80% of the time!!!
What fecking use is he to us????

I am absolutely baffled as to how he stacked up the figures he did in the German league. It doesn’t make any sense.

His confidence looks shot, he lacks pace to take his man on and is dispossessed so easily. Even Mkhitaryan didn’t look this bad.

I've never seen Jadon run more that 20mt with the ball, he's constantly fumbling, tripping or miss controlling the thing.

The lack or urgency he shows is quite alarming. He’s shown some good bits in a few games but he doesn’t seem to have any drive whatsoever. Which is crazy really, considering he had the confidence to leave City and go to Dortmund at a young age.

Same can be said about Rashford. But true about both of them

Christ, you only ever remember the poor points of this guys game. He hasn't played well in general so far this season, I'm not arguing that, but he's had good spells in games and has impacted a few in a positive manner.

Think it's fair to suggest we shouldn't expect the Dortmund Sancho in his 1st season in the prem and give him time to adjust but right now he looks awful. Looks slow, doesn't do much defensively or offensively but the killer for me is his passing is genuinely shocking, so many under hit simple 5 yard passes.

I was angry with his showing when he was brought on but ultimately its hilarious how god-damn lazy he was.

Flop of the season let's be honest. Don't get the hype and I told everyone this when he was at Dortmund and people were going mental over him. The Bundesliga is crap and he's massively over rated.

In saying that.....I do think someone like Poch could be good for him. Rashy too.

What a terrible season this is. :(

I’m sure he will come good, but so far not ideal.
I said that a few weeks back but I'm not so sure now tbh. I am a bit baffled why he is taking so much stick tonight though when he came on in a high tempo game where we were being outplayed. If he started and played shite throughout by all means pile on but doing tonight seems way too harsh imo.

I think when we get a manager who focuses on getting the ball to do the work and getting players closer to Jadon to link up with we will see him improve a lot.

Forget the cost involved, where's the personal pride at being dropped for a youth product?

If you think we were getting overrun with matic and fred giving away the ball then sancho made it worse.

By the end we had three players giving away the ball, its one thing not being able to make a killer pass but its scandalous when not one but three of our players can't keep hold of the ball.

It was like taking candy from sleeping babies, atleast matic and fred have a half excuse of being out of steam but what excuse does sancho have ?

Thought he would look as isolated at United as he does for England, going to take a while to see if he can adapt or our team can get some passing system going.

The whole thing reminds me of Moyes buying Mata, he thought bringing him in would add creativity yet all we see is an underperforming player that comes up with something once in 7-8 games. That's Mata's career at United, a good technical player not used correctly, David Silva at City even recognized it. Our policy is hoping something sticks with the haphazard money and hires we make.

He is on 350K per week !

I am really feeling sad about the things moving for us !! Don’t know it’s bad luck or pure wrong choices with players we are buying

Meh, these are stats from the Burnley game on 30 Dec:

Swear you don't either. Contributed to 2 goals - Caused the own goal, would've assisted McT if not for a great save, + Ronaldo scores the rebound. 69th minute, puts in a superb cross for Ronaldo to set up Cavani. + this: "Highest presses of any United player. Joint highest number of tackles. Most touches of all our attacking players. Best pass completion % (91.5) Most progressive carries. Most progressive dribbles." - Pogue Mahone - Already quoted above.

Now in a game where we played terribly according to a lot of people, that's a pretty good statistical performance.
Again, not defending him in any manner, but this game alone is just one performance you have forgotten.

I know we're in a god awful spell and the team is messy as anything, but comments like Dan James is the better player are downright ridiculous.

May be if we bring in 2 good CM’s and 2 Full backs then players like Sancho and Rashford might play well

so we are short of 4 players from greatness

hearing this for last 9 years though

He won't 'come good' or whatever trite phrase you may wish to use. I would say the sooner people learn to accept this the easier it will be but given the club won't for at least two years then it would be futile to bother.

I've seen enough to know he's not good enough. Five years time and he's at Fenerbahçe.

Hè was with us over a year ? So what isnthis based on ?
Do you not remember how James started his career with us? Sancho has got nowhere near that.

James was largely crap, but his best performances are absolutely miles ahead of anything we've seen from Sancho... Its not even close

Not really sure why Elanga went off for him. Imagine if that 70m had gone on a CM instead.

He is so young though it's unfair to judge yet, I'm sure he'll deliver eventually.

Already responded to you when you did this in this Rashford thread but you didn't respond then so will try again now, they mean very little when you actually watch the game and he was shit.

Rashford for the Newcastle game was labelled a diva and lazy, correct? Yet going by the stats Rashford had more pressures and was successful more too. He also had 4 more progressive passes to Sancho 3 last night and recovered 11 loose balls to Sancho 6. That was in relation to Sancho's performance against Burnley and they're Rashford's stats against Newcastle.

...and Lukaka, Di Maria, Falcao, Dalot, AWB, Fred, VDB, Solskjaer, Mourinho, LVG, Moyes, Maguire, Pogba, Martial
, Darmian, Bailly and criminal that you missed Alexis. Basically, we'd better off signing nobody bar a couple of players.

I’m starting to feel like he was expecting to land and be the missing part of the cool wonder kid thing we had going on here. Stroll around do some skills catch the hype wave and the manager will big you up while we probably pay you a bit too much. Easy street. Whatever Ronaldo is talking about with our young stars standards, probably the same thing that is making Rashford look like he doesn’t even want to play these day (they are buds after all) I feel it’s likely Sancho bought into that idea and then Ole got sacked and now he has to adapt and it’s not really going well enough. He’s too good to totally fail but I really really hate seeing players pulling out of 50/50s. Bravery is definitely mandatory even if things aren’t coming off

It's not hard for Rashford to get better stats in terms of pressures etc when in the Newcastle game, Sancho started on the bench... Come on now.

Many people agreed post match Burnley he had a good game, so not too sure what you were watching really.
