That is an outrageous amount of money for Kirk

Obviously my NFL knowledge is very, very limited... but I've seen almost every Cardinals game for the last two years in full and I don't remember seeing Kirk particularly stand out ever.

Fair play to his agent.

The guy was playing against the Jags, he deserves no credit.

Ced Wilson to the Dolphins is awesome, both for his own and Waddle’s fantasy value. Great move that

Chargers D is looking serious. JC and Derwin in the secondary. Mack and Bosa leading up front. And there are other names worth mentioning too. Competing in that division though … fecking hell, quite possibly 4 of the top 6 teams in the AFC sit in the AFC west.

On the one hand, I'm delighted to not have a chance of signing this guy. On the other, what does it say about the Seahawks that he's willing to consider the Panthers ahead of us

Chalk it up to hometown proximity.

DJ Chark to Lions for one year up to $12m

Surprised he didn’t get a long term deal.

Good player. He's done well to establish himself in that dumpster fire of a franchise. Hope he eventually ends up at better teams than the fecking Jags and Lions.

Packers cleared a ton of room with the Rodgers contract. This year at least.

Yeah they’ve done well to clear cap this year but could hurt them massively down the road.

Adams and Jaire Alexander also due massive deals

I really like the Dolphins and Bengals buying protection for their QBs. Hope Tua will thrive with Waddle as a downfield threat, Wilson in the slot and Edmonds catching passes out of the backfield. Hopefully that Niners offense was influenced by McDaniel and it was not just all Shanahan.

LAC signed 2 decent quality DTs as well, which I missed. They can now go BPA in the draft, maybe add something to help Herbie.

Denver also added a good DT in DJ Jones. We needed to reinforce the trenches. These are the signings that get overlooked but pay dividends down the line.

Browns plane has been tracked Caf transfer forum style. They’re meeting with Deshaun, though sources are saying they have little to no chance. Baker’s mood in shambles.

Nah why would you install a no-trade clause and then agree to get traded to fecking Cleveland? Are there actually worse NFL cities? Green Bay and Cincinnati perhaps? Buffalo?

NOLA and Carolina seem like the only two viable options (at the moment).

What is wrong with Cleveland? Is it supposed to be worse than Charlotte, Baltimore or Detroit?

I honestly don't know, that's why I was asking. At least in Charlotte you are within driving distance from the mountains, skiing, beaches in the summer, ... But maybe that doesn't matter much to NFL superstars anyway.

I have a few friends who've been to Cleveland to watch LeBron and they said there was literally nothing to do in Cleveland. Belgian commentators who were there for the Finals a few times have said the same on podcasts. People in general usually seem to agree that there's nothing going on in Ohio at all - or at least that's my feeling.

You actually believe people telling you that kind of things, think about the absurdity of that statement. A Metropolitan area that counts +2m inhabitants and there is nothing to do, those people have nothing to do?

Atlanta has apparently popped into the conversation with Ryan potentially going to Indy.

While there is some truth to what you’re saying, there are different vibes to cities. Different concerts, events, ‘scenes’ that you might be into.

Cleveland is definitely in a lower tier of glamour, like with OKC in the NBA. Continental winters with weather rolling in from the Great Lakes don’t help either.
