Another day and yet another striker linked to United. 22, really kicked on this season, great in the air, leads the line, drops deep to link up and certainly can beat defenders for pace. Rumoured 20 million buy out, it’s not much of a gamble.

Scouted by United in his last game.

Previosly linked to Liverpool, City and Dortmund. Lad could develop into a genuine world class striker.

22? another Diego Costa
Less power, more pace and movement about him than Diego. I‘d say a similar potential to be a regular 20 plus goals per season striker. Pretty sure he’s moving in the summer, he’s improved immensely this season and seems on a very good trajectory. He'd be a very good fit when looking at what United need, just very unproven at this moment in time.

At that price if hes any good we should bring him in even if its as a backup, we have no strikers, we're going to need more than one in the summer

Is it Eva-nilson or Evanil-son? The former obviously will cost more.

Eva Nilsson sounds more like a Swedish nurse gossipping on her smoking break.

We’ll land him in 2032 when he meets our targeted age demographic for strikers.

Not sure about this guy.

There's definitely some quality in Porto's current setup, but I don't think this guy is at the top of the current crop.

Two portuguese papers are saying ManUtd are offering 70M€ fro Porto's Evanilson. But Porto will only acept if the transfer of Vitinha to PSG fails.

I wouldn't give much credit to this news, because Evanilson, in no way, is worth even half of that.

There's no way we're offering that much when we're trying to penny pinch on the FDJ transfer.

I would say the ratio between stories about United in the Portugese press being absolute bollocks to having any substance is roughly 850k : 1.

Looks like he could be our version of Diaz, quick, tricky, pacey player from the Portuguese league who runs all day.

United is a wet dream for Portuguese clubs and players agents alike, we are always used to drive up players fees, just look at how Nunez fee sky rocketed the moment we got involved and it made Liverpool pay his full buy out clause.

Record stated United were ready to offer 70M. Right off the rip this rumor is BS. Why on heavens earth would United offer 70M for s player who is not even the best striker on his own team let alone in Portugal.

Why would United evaluate him anywhere near Darwin ??

I am going to assume record did a typo because that price tag makes zero sense.

It’s an absolute BS rumor. Evanilson was not even a top 5 best player on Porto team last season!

Jesus if Evanilson is 70M then I want 100M for our best players

Could be worth a punt if its around the 20 mil region. Looks like a hard working forward who will press. Something i think Ten Hag likes

If we're not already, we need to be getting a cut of these fees the amount Mendes is using us to his gain.

We all love United
Doubt we are getting a striker at all. when Ronaldo and Rashford will be sharing the striking duties (am i’m not even including Martial). It’ll be 2 mids, a centre back and a left back and we should be grand to go

Probably need a right back before a left one
