Seems stupid, but it genuinely wouldn't shock me. And it would surely send United further into decline as the top available players go elsewhere.

Ducker, meanwhile, said a week or so ago that United would make 'significant' transfer funds available to Ten Hag and co, even without CL football, to fund the latest rebuild.

You need about three new attacking players for a start and completely regenerate the midfield so that's going to cost 150-200m to fix unless you just turn into Juventus of last decade and gobble up some decent players on freebies.

You just need to look at our accounts. High payables, low receivables and not a kot of cash in the bank.
