Barca are ahead of Villareal in the table, right? So Frankfurt beating Barca basically means Frankfurt > Bayern, makes absolute sense
Frankfurt are just a different beast in cup competitions. They are so good at building up some club wide momentum, that carries them through these games. In the last five years or so they made the domestic cup final twice (beating Bayern once) and now it looks like they will make their second EL semi.

West Ham and Rangers have been the best teams in the Europa League this season. If they win it, it'll be deserved.

I'd think twice about paying the price quoted for Rice even if it was for Makelele entering his prime. There's far better value elsewhere and signing him for that much would be insane.
