Again came on to jog around for a few minutes and go home.

I do not see any way back for him. He just looks like he doesn’t want to play.

Put him out of his misery, sell him anywhere.

As a fan of Rashford - I think it gives me hope that the whole team is shit.

I think ETH will assess him properly in the pre season, and if he’s doesn’t make the cut I can only hope a Newcastle or someone put a healthy bid in for him.

Even if he turns it around, I won't forgive his lack of effort. He is a disgrace.

Yeah, a long way back for many fans. He downed tools like no player I've ever seen at United. Moreso than even di Maria

There was a time when he had a good period where some of our fans said he's never good enough and too limited to his game. I defended him but he's shown this year that those fans where right all along. Can't be blamed on injuries anymore, he's been absolutely atrocious and if I was the new manager he would be no part of my plans.

The worrying thing is since Ole got the sack these players are basically auditioning for the new manager and it's shocking how many of them don't seem to bother one bit.

Thinking back to young Rashford when he first came on to the scene, the sentence above would have been unimaginable. I've never been the biggest fan of his abilities but the lack of effort and the way a lot of fans are disconnected from him is sad.

Newbies 15/16 FPL Champion.
He always tried hard even when I thought he was overrated back at the start of his career. Now he gives absolutely no effort out there.
Ferguson in his pomp would have him out the gap this summer.

He’s invisible now , before he used to mess up our attacks. Now he’s nowhere to be seen instead.

Score a goal maybe?

Or is that out of the world expectation these days for our subs?
if you expect Rashford in his current form to come on and score a goal in 13 minutes (less than that actually as the ball isn't actually in play for that entire time) when the rest of his team are defeated then that's on you

So we have a striker who we don't expect to score or do anything remotely positive when he comes on?

It is. But i really don't think it's unfair from fans. He's a pampered brat who's had pr spun excuses since big bad Jose was around

Not in his current form and not in that length of time no, again if you expect otherwise then that's on you. In his current form I don't expect anything of him in 90 minutes let alone 17

And then he has the cheek to issue statements through his PR team, showing him a victim and United as villain. Absolutely unforgivable, especially for an Academic Graduate.

Should be sold or cast aside by the Club, followed by ruthless official statement about his lack of effort and lethargic behavior.

I defended his stupid video on the PJ, his turn in form, but his lack of effort and that IG post about his chick was the end. This just proves how red my glasses were.

What exactly do you expect of him in 13 minutes?
We saw what Sancho did at Anfield.

Even though he didn't score, we saw his penetrative runs and endeavour.

Rashford is so poor lately. He is poor when he starts, he's horrendous as a sub.

I cannot remember the last time Marcus got past a marker in the last 6 months.

Has a more tragic fall ensued since Lucifer was cast out of heaven?

But if we expect nothing of him, then why play him? My biggest gripe with Ralf, and I've been defending him and what he's doing for our club, not just as interim, but updating the back end of the club, is his persistence with the same players expecting a different result. It's surely clear by now that doing anything more than walking is beneath Rashford, and not something he's interested in doing anymore, so why is he even getting minutes?

Did his best impression of a training cone today. 9/10 I saw him move once.

Next season will be absolutely crucial for him and his career. He will either rediscover his form and desire and become full first 11 player under ETH (and sign new contract) or he will continue like this and be sold at the end of next season.

Just to make this clear, for myself and, I believe, many others here, it’s really not about his form, ghastly though that is. Form comes and goes, and no one is in their best form all of the time.
This is about something else: Rashford’s shit attitude and the casual disinclination to give it his all. It is just not acceptable. Whether he comes on for 13 minutes or the full match, he’s paid a fecking fortune and claims to care about the club.
I used to be proud to have the guy here. But no longer. His appearances stink of contempt.

Sometimes you have to stand back to see how far Rashford has fallen.

He can't get into this United team! Elanga starts ahead of him and deservedly so. When Ronaldo was injured we played Bruno instead of him. He's out of the England squad. He's out of our starting XI and if his performances don't pick up then I want him out of United next season.

Going to be fascinating to see how brand Rashford gets on if he's at Aston Villa.

Who knows why RR does any of the things he does

Nobody knows just how toxic this dressing room has become. Considering Rashford seems to be struggling as much as anyone is, if not more so, then maybe something serious has happened we aren't aware of.

Every player who isn't sold this summer gets a clean slate under a proper coach in Ten Hag.

This is Rashford's first really poor season for us. The previous 4 he's not been close to being our worst player.

I wonder how much Ole is to blame here, in the last 2 seasons he played Rashford when he could barely move due to injuries, now it looks like he can't remember how to move

At the moment I still back Rashford to come good, it's not been an easy season for any of the players and in Rashford's case his confidence is obviously at the lowest I've ever seen from any player and under RR no player is being helped so I'm hoping under ETH Rashford can return to his best.

The problem is that it's now 3 seasons in all (2 with injuries and now this season) so while he may return to some form it's hard to imagine he'll actually push on and reach the potential he looked to have

Double standards for your favourite player. If people made these excuses for other players you’d be the first to call them fan boys. There’s no excuse for his lack of effort.
