If anyone wants to spare (or waste) 45 mins this video captures when the NFL Draft became must-see TV.

pete caroll won’t stop till the franchise is burned to the ground.
Probably. But I'm going to choose to deny reality and instead assume this is all part of some master plan because the Seahawks and United have broken me over the last few months.

It’s incredible that no one is taking a QB. Knowing our history I am now thinking Howie might take Willis if he is there at 51

Nice, Bonitto to Denver. Normally even I wouldn’t recommend OU defenders, but this makes sense for depth at Edge. He has consistently earned high pash rushing grades from PFF despite being undersized at ~250#; you could do a lot worse for a pass rushing specialist.

Anyone able to share knowledge about the USFL, I read a little bit about it on wiki, and got some questions. Is it like for the rejects or what? And how does the NFL feel about it's "reactivation"?

I watched a bit of one of a recent USFL game - completely embarrassing. Definitely not what the USFL was in the 80s, when it was serious competitor to the NFL with guys like Steve Young, Jim Kelly, Bobby Hebert, Anthony Carter, Hershel Walker and others on their rosters.

Dang, Justyn Ross got red flags from every team doctor it seems. That’s a shame; he looked every bit as impressive as Tee Higgins on the same team despite being a freshman.

He and Pickens a year later looked like AJ Green level prospects…but life is weird and the gods cruel.

A team would be mad to draft him.

I'm happy we traded for Hill, but it spoilt the draft.

I always look forward to the draft but it isn't quite the same when your first pick is at the very end of the third round.

Absolutely love the behind the scenes footage that some teams put out around draft time (and pre-season).

I wish every team put out footage from the draft day war room.

We got you this year. We can’t keep shitting the bed every regular season game against y’all.
Wouldn't actually mind that if it meant we get to avenge the playoff loss against you.

I was gonna ask @Carolina Red how he performed for Clemson before the injury. Lot of disappointment on social media that he went undrafted given his potential.

Which is the tragedy of college football pre-NIL.

More of DE, but yeah it’s a reach. He was barely on the radar until his measureables came in, and was not even the most impressive Georgia defender.

I could be wrong of course, but it smacks of a Gruden-era Raiders pick.
Considering Travon Walker and Clelin Ferrell are pretty much polar opposites as prospects going in to the NFL this makes little sense.

Supposedly the condition he has - the serious bit wasn’t an injury it was just discovered after a stinger - can cause bone spurs to grow and teams are scared of him severing part his spinal cord after a heavy blow. He went to an expert doctor who was the only one that would operate on him and give him a clean bill of health but it’s such a rarity that someone would go through that that teams are worried.

Then when he came back he played through normal injuries and didn’t produce or test well as a result. Just signed with KC though.

Weird seeing the Seahawks so high up these lists. We're usually at the bottom after the usual "trade down a whole bunch then take someone projected in the third round in the first" routine, was nice to just make logical picks for once. I'll even forgive the obligatory high RB selection.
