Funny looks on some of the Liverpool players like Henderson, Robertson, Thiago.
Glaring eyes and intensity in going at the referee just like Klopp.

Makes one think.
It does indeed. Never seen the sheer intensity of pressing for 90 minutes that these guys do (apart from the peak Barcelona blood bags era). Their fitness regime must be exceptional...

The reason why they'll win the quad is more about City having a whiff of bottling it than Liverpool themselves.

City's injuries and the fact they have to work much harder to score goals than Liverpool suggests to me that they're dropping points at some stage. Wouldn't be surprised if it's this weekend actually, midway through a tough and draining CL semifinal.

Just heard the news this morning. Are we on for a quintuple this season?

Klopp may sign an extension. This would be the biggest trophy we win this season if true!!

This is literally the last hope of the United fan. We hoped Klopp would flop, then we hoped that they wouldn’t get that good, then we thought they’d just burn out after a year or two, then we hoped that Salah and Mane would be hoovered up by bigger clubs, then we hoped Klopp would have a meltdown and leave.

All we have left is the slim hope that the whole time they might have been doped off their tits and it could all get taken off them.

Away at Leeds is a potential banana skin, but Liverpool away at Newcastle for an early kick off is no walk in the park either!

Good luck to them - they were in the wilderness for years until they landed on Kopp. Time is a flat circle - what goes around comes around. One day UTD will be back.

Leeds played on Monday and City played on Tuesday. City have a bigger squad than Leeds and will be more fresher. Even we battered Leeds away. This is one of City’s easiest fixtures!

I don't know if it's been brought up here already, but he is saying how and why they managed the fitness this season. By bringing on even more fitness and physio specialists last summer to make sure everyone get the maximum attention and best of care.

So now a new conundrum for our forlorn Utd brethren. Would you rather Liverpool only win one of PL or CL and Klopp signs a new contract (until 2028?)

Or Klopp wins the quad, decides his job here is done and doesn't sign a new contract?

I know, it's a mean question. :keano:

I'd take the option of Liverpool not winning the PL.

Doesn't the part in bold discredit your whole "Makes one think" point?

Unless you think that Klopp is also on PEDs

How many KM did he cover in his technical zone last night?

You don't need to cover km's to be on any stuff.
You'd be surprised what may happen in this world.

I'd take Liverpool loosing Champions League and FA Cup finals and loosing out winning EPL on the final day.
I would love Klopp to be in EPL for as long as possible. His presence is great for EPL and for the game in general.

No it's not. It's also not happening.

City are more likely to win both the league and the CL.

City won't be dropping any points in the league, of that i am convinced, but Liverpool can well do a cup treble.

Y'all need to relax. Pep might choke in the UCL, but he'll never let a league title slip away from his grasp this close to the finish line. Liverpool will probably win the FA cup. The UCL is a coin toss between them and city. But the league? The league is gone.

I previously thought that City had another 0-0 draw in them, where they dominate but just can’t get a breakthrough, similar to their game away to Palace.

But I changed my mind, to think that they’ll win all of their remaining league games and get the job done in the title race.

If City overcome Real tomorrow (no guarantees there of course), and then if they beat Liverpool in both the title race and CL final, I won’t say anything bad about them for a long time !

No closer to it after tonight to be honest.
Despite the way they win they were fully expected to go through.

I do think they will win CL though. City for league and Chelsea for the cup

Feck me, 3 different cup finals and a point behind the leaders in the league is impressive to say the least.
What a job Klopp has done.
And what makes it worst they have done it all fair and square without spending ridiculous sums like city and Chelsea (and us with nothing to show for)

I've said it since months ago but they are going to win everything this year those cnuts I'm afraid. However next season they are done. The klopp syndrome will kick in full force and they won't probably win a single title. It's all going to go downhill from there and he will leave on mutual consent. People can laugh at this or whatever they want but it's exactly what's going to happen.

That constant intensity over the years will eventually come back and bite you in the arse. He's done a magnificent job getting them many titles on the road but it wont be pretty for them once things start turning sour.

Watching Liverpool tonight, the players looked as fresh as they did on the first day of the season.

How is that possible given they're challenging on multiple fronts with barely a need for rotation? It never ceases to amaze.

It’s the blatantly obvious truth.

Look at their running stats, look at their running stats combined with their ridiculous lack of muscle injuries.

Look at their recovery rate for injuries.

They’re the most blatantly obvious doping side in the history of the PL.
Did the pharmacist run out of inhalers last season as I'm pretty sure that there were a fair few injuries that nearly derailed top 4?

That game must of taken a lot out of them. Spurs will be a tough game. If Madrid beat city tomorrow I’d fancy them in a one off game over 2 legs I’d say Liverpool

If they were top of the league, they would be having the best season anyone has ever. City have a very winnable run in and look pretty good themselves. Chelsea are also not to be underestimated as a cup team. Liverpool will win the CL.

Despite the great season they are having they could actually still only end up with a League Cup.

I think so too. City is too much for the likes of Newcastle, Villa or West Ham. Even if they play the bench... It was very clear for me when they teared Norwich and Leeds having an easy walk.

Also, even if Liverpool's recent form has been formidable, they have tougher matches with Tottenham and Villa, and a FA Cup final after that just to play away vs Southampton.

Nonetheless, I believe Madrid will win over City and City's mental health and physique will be tested after that match. I don't see them losing form but you never know. Its a crucial match for them.

I put £100 on 7/1. At least I can have some sort of bright side to the nightmare it would be. I hope I never see that money.
